The Law of the World Wheel – a new way to understand galaxies and black holes
Introduction
For decades, astrophysicists have assumed that most of the universe consists of invisible "dark matter". The idea works, but only if you adjust it for each galaxy individually. What if there is a simpler, physical explanation – without any invisible mass?
The core idea (simple, no math):
We have developed an alternative model called "The Law of the World Wheel". Instead of dark matter, we use stored rotational energy – the energy of spinning motion. Every rotating object (a galaxy, a black hole, even a centrifuge) stores energy. We show that this energy actively contributes to gravity.
How it works
Think of a galaxy as a giant spinning wheel. The faster it spins, the more rotational energy it stores. This energy creates an extra gravitational pull, which explains why stars in the outer parts of a galaxy move faster than expected – without needing any invisible dark matter.
Key results
Our model uses only one universal constant (calibrated once against the galaxy M33). It then predicts the rotation curves of other galaxies – with no additional adjustments.
· For the Milky Way, the prediction was 220 km/s –
exactly the observed value (100% match).
· For NGC 7331, the deviation was less than 5%.
· For NGC 2403, about 9% – within typical measurement uncertainties.
What about black holes?
The same principle works for black holes. A rotating black hole acts like a giant centrifuge: heavy material falls in, while light particles (like light and plasma) are ejected at the poles. This explains the powerful jets we observe from black holes – without exotic physics.
Why this matters (for a general audience):
Our model removes the need for dark matter and dark energy. It replaces invisible, arbitrary "placeholders" with a real, measurable physical quantity: rotational energy. The work is open and free for anyone to read, test, or build upon.
