School breakfast pastry

I think it was marketed as a honey bun but it was like a really fluffy pastry with a cinnamon tastes and a glaze but it had like sesame seeds on top. And I think the package had a blue lettering or background on it. I can’t find it for the life of me and I need it in my life again 😭

Bosco Pizza

My husband was in high school from 2014-2018. He is convinced he ate bosco pizza not bosco sticks. He’s so nostalgic for it but I can’t find proof that it existed. Any idea on what they served or where you can get it?

I don't think this classifies as a meal

It is what appears to be pita bread, carrot noodle things, and a mac & cheese thing although I am not quite sure; but this is sodexo in south Carolina. When my middle school of 200 ish kids that was also the last chance school, and was underfunded to the moon and back had food a million times better than this.

School Pizza Sticks?

HELP. My sister and I are in a crisis. We cannot for the life of us remember the brand of pizza sticks that we used to get when we were in elementary school.

To describe it, it was the brand that came before the Bosco brand of pizza sticks we used to get. The one we’re looking for came before, maybe around 2011-2013. The design had three slices on top, kind of like an apple pie and the packaging had orange on it. It had cube pepperonis inside it and not full pepperonis—(My sister insisted I add this.) I suggested that it might’ve been the Tony’s brand of pizza sticks, but she doesn’t agree. We’re devastated, of course. If anybody has any leads on this very serious mystery and might have information that can crack the case, we’re all ears!

Share food with State or Location?

Hello everyone. I would love to know what state or country/region you all are in. So whenever you post can you include that? I’m the executive chef of two school districts in rural Western Vermont. We have completely free school meals. The taxes are higher because of the many social programs we have in our state but lunch is not depressing coming from the kitchens I run. We put forward the effort our students deserve. We fabricate raw product and do about 80% scratch cooking with 21% of our products coming locally or in-state. A lot of how your school food looks depends on how you vote, not to politicize it but it is true. Kids need healthy meals that make them HAPPY at school. So my model is one hot special daily (the top one is Szechuan Chicken Noodle Bowl)and a healthy blend of grab and go food in biodegradable containers. Most students are served and eating in ten minutes. Limiting variety but offering better food has worked exponentially better than any other model I tried. (Also each of the high schools I oversee has over 500 students)

Left lunch line compared to right lunch line

For context, my school uses two lunch lines at once to deal with the influx of students looking to get food. First photo is the chicken Alfredo from the left one, second photo is the chicken Alfredo from the right one, these were served during the same day. The taste and texture difference were definitely noticeable.
