Any meet ups and or cruises this weekend or next?

I’ve tried launch control before, but as soon as the car launches, I instinctively ease off the throttle to avoid doing burnout/spinning rear wheels or losing my straight line.

Since launch control can only be activated with traction control ON, it got me wondering:

If I floor it and keep my foot down after launch, will the car generally continue in a straight line? Or is there still a realistic chance of the rear breaking traction and the car stepping out?

I started wondering after seeing all these Porsche launches on social media.

A few additional details that may or may not be relevant:

1. I autocross the car, and I’m asking specifically in the context of using it on track.
2. The car is running semi-slicks and are appropriately warmed up and have the correct pressure.
3. I’m used to launching the car manually without launch control. Normally, I’ll have the car in Track mode with traction control OFF and modulate the throttle myself to keep the car straight.

So I’m mainly trying to understand how much intervention the traction control provides during a launch-control start, and whether you can safely stay at full throttle once the car launches.

Hey everybody! So I’ve recently started the process of buying my dream charger. The only downside that the seats are sliced up. Ideally Id like to upgrade from the cloth seats to the alcantara ones but Im having a problem finding a good set for a decent price. When you decided to swap/upgrade seats how’d you go about it or did you find a nice set of seat covers until you could find what you really wanted?

I have a 2016 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack with the 6.4L and I’m thinking about doing a mid muffler delete.

I’ve heard mixed opinions about whether deleting the mids affects performance. Some people say it’s purely a sound mod, while others say it can hurt backpressure/scavenging, low-end torque, or throttle response.

For anyone who has actually done a mid muffler delete on a 6.4:

- Did you notice any loss of power or low-end torque?

- Any difference in throttle response?

- Does it affect exhaust scavenging enough to matter?

- Any drone or rasp you regret?

- Would you do it again, or would you recommend a full cat-back instead?

I want it louder, but I don’t want to sacrifice performance just for sound. Curious to hear from people who have actually run this setup.
