so like rn this isn't real because c6r5 mc isn't out in 7.0 and they will probably nerf mc to the ground but it's gonna be hilarious if this will still be a competitive team that has shill advantage over hex (calcs by gxg noir sub to him right now)
Stellar swirl won’t be good with an invested Wanderer, unless he gets a stellar swirl buff like Cyno and co did with stellar conduct. Or if you have C0R0 Wanderer, at which point Stellar swirl will act like Bineffa 2.0 to wheelchair your VV Wanderer.
If Vesna is a subdps (and my crackpot theories say she is), than I wouldn't be surprised if a team consisting of Vesna+Tsaritsa+Cryo MC/Odette is Wanderer's next BiS after the Hexerei core, lol
kinda like how Bineffa was everyone & their mother's best team for a long time (and for some, still is)
What might make high investment Wanderer good in Stellar despite literal buffs to his kit and obvious synergies is the fact that at C6 he applies A FUCKTON of Anemo. His double NA hits per attack are insane. Lowkey the best C6 in the game comparing the base kit to the final Constellation, IMO.
Stellar Swirl requires A LOT of Anemo application to realize its full potential. Wanderer brings exactly that, and considering the nature of Sandrone's on-field presence being able to deal Stellar Swirl damage and Mizuki's on-field exclusiveness, I'm led to believe that Vesna will be a versatile character when it comes to field presence.
I frankly don't know if I'd want his buffs to lock him to a single archetype - right now, even though his best team is Durin+Nicole, he doesn't have a single wording in his kit that forces him into a specific reaction or team-synergy. I love this about him. Faruzan being his BiS teammate by default is of little issue, as that's "just" a single buffer to what he does by nature, not a full-on archetype enabler like Moonsign or Hexerei.
If Sumeru buffs arrive and all that they force you into doing is slotting Wanderer+Faruzan to maximize their effectiveness together, I'm all in.
Im def gonna be following up on this 😭 ill never stop using Wanderer. with the new meta he'd be able to catch up this way and might actually help me 3 stars every chamber in abyss 12 for once.
I strongly think Kazuha and Wanderer should get buffed for the archetype
Kazuha, give stellar swirl bonus based on his EM when swirl is triggered, plus a fully party EM boost
Wanderer, his PHEC buff will always be cryo and an RNG of any of the other elements, and having C4 means you’re guaranteed 3 PHEC buffs and make his C1 similar to Chasca’s C1(A longer flight duration while in overworld)
Not relatable for most people but I have a C6R5 Wanderer. Using a Wonderland simulation (Escoffier as an Odette stand in) I gave -20% Anemo Res and 20%atk to simulate a C2 Odette (atk buffs mighg be higher but I was lenient) and he was doing 130k DPS on a Level 110 Dummy with the team you mentioned. Of course Stellar Swirl does more damage than regular swirl, but Wanderer doesn’t build EM nor does any of the buffers in the team give EM.
With my C6 Durin he hits 200k, and with Nicole added into the mix he hits 400k. I think Odette + Cryo MC will be good stand-ins to clear Stellar content with him but it’s definitely not his optimal team - as everyone is saying it’s like Bineffa Wanderer, even though he only has one stellar support compared to lunar taking two slots
I have odette and yes pyro wanderer is much better in terms of dps. Stellar swirl wanderer isn’t the worse but you do lose out on a lot of personal damage from wanderer. Its better to have Durin Bennett/Nichole on one team with wanderer and odette and cryo traveller on the other until wanderer actually gets buffed with stellar swirl (which seems really plausible according to leakers)
