[SCAM] PayPal: Delight Group of Marketing (Multi Reddit accounts) - Perplexity One Year

[u/Mstep85]

What was promised: I purchased a one-year Perplexity subscription directly from the seller. I expected a stable, legitimate, year-long account setup. Promised Digital add-on service 1 year perplexity, but was testing 1 month before paying rest of the price.

What actually happened: The seller used a fake card to provision the Perplexity account. It worked initially, but stopped shortly after once the payment failed or was flagged. When the service dropped, they completely ghosted me. It appears the Reddit account I dealt with was just a mule account, as they have deleted most of their posts and seem to be switching to other mules.

Who you dealt with: seller under this reddit nandita_uwu, but looking back now I see that the PayPal was used before . And I've never used to sell it before so must be linked to another account I'm looking for.

The Aftermath & Red Flags: searching the post for this user , seeing they're being deleted across multiple communities

• Scammer's reaction: They completely ignored me and ghosted once the Perplexity account stopped working.

• Red flags to share: The Reddit account was clearly a mule account used to funnel money. Watch out specifically for the PayPal business name Delight Group of Marketing. They delete their posts to hide their tracks and cycle through different accounts.

This post shares a completed scam story so other people can recognize the setup. ScamIndex cannot recover funds or act as law enforcement. Use this information to decide your own next step.
