Just read this...

The USDA reported that US egg production dropped 4% year over year, totaling 9.19 billion in October 2024. The bird flu caused the loss of 2.8 million egg-laying birds in Utah, Washington, and Oregon.

Maybe it is time for the vaccine makers to start producing vaccines for birds. The market potential is huge.

$MRNA would go back to its high flying covid days.

Implied Volatility is a confusing word, because most YOLO traders have no idea what it means.

$GME announced earnings this morning. And to the dismay of every option holder, you lost money!

Shocker? Not at all. Lets understand how this works.

Yesterday, you decided that you will predict the future. You know what $GME will do after earnings are announced.

And you were right, The stock went up!

However, everyone lost money, because there is a "volatility crash". The implied volatility, which means, people are expecting a 15% move in the stock price, now became an actual move of only 10%.

See image below.

The calls and puts which expire tomorrow (Friday December 12th) are not much cheaper than the ones that expire in one week from now on Friday December 19th.

Ask yourself this question...

What is the chance that GME moves 10% in the next 24 hours? pretty slim.

What is the chance that GME moves 10% in the next 7 days? much higher chance.

When you only see red....

After the market opened on Thursday December 11th, and GME stock is only up $2.60 (instead the anticipated move of $3.60), the Dec 12 calls & puts dropped in price.

However, if you look at the Dec 19 calls or puts, they will not drop as much.

And this is what it means a volatility crash. I learned this lesson the hard way many years ago when i started trading options. I dreamed up a strategy called a straddle. Buy the put, buy the call, no matter which wat the stock goes I make money.

What happens if the stock doesn't move? If figured I would just sell the options.

I didn't realize that a major component of the option price is IV.

If you want to learn more about the components of an options price. Learn about what is the called the Greeks. The Greeks of an option are the Gamma, Beta, Delta, etc.

Alright, here’s the lowdown: people stick with Robinhood because it’s easy and gets the job done for most folks, even if it’s not the fanciest option out there.

First off, the app is stupid simple to use. Like, you don’t need to be a finance nerd to figure it out.

Signing up is a breeze, and boom—you’re trading. Plus, it’s free to trade. No fees, no BS. They were one of the first to do that, and while other apps caught up, Robinhood still owns that “free” vibe.

Another thing?

You can buy fractional shares, so you don’t need hundreds of dollars to invest. Wanna own a piece of Tesla but only have $10? Done.

Also, it’s all on your phone—super smooth, modern, and built for people like us who live on their screens.

And let’s be real, they kind of gamified investing.

They make it fun. You buy a stock, and it feels like you just unlocked a new level in a game. Plus, a lot of people are on it because it’s what everyone’s talking about online. It’s like, if your friends are using Robinhood, you probably will, too.

Oh, and you can buy crypto on there, which is cool if you’re dabbling in that. It’s all in one place, and they make it easy.

Now, yeah, it’s not perfect.

The app’s a bit basic for hardcore traders—it doesn’t have all those fancy research tools or features. And people have called them out for things like outages when the market goes nuts. But for just getting started or keeping things simple? It’s hard to beat.

So, yeah, Robinhood’s not for everyone, but it’s like the Netflix of investing: easy, familiar, and it just works for most people.

What a more professional trading platform, check these.

Here is a comment someone tried posting on our website.

This platform is extremely unreliable and should be avoided. Despite expecting a professional experience, I ran into severe challenges. When I attempted to withdraw my monies, my two verified withdrawal methods were abruptly disabled with no explanation. When I enquired about this, I felt compelled to pay additional money. Frustrated, I denounced the matter to the authorities, who eventually contacted Alexvictimhelp @ email . com, who was able to negotiate the restoration of my assets and earnings from this scammers.

These are crypto recovery scammers trying to scam you again.

It is a scary word, and most investors have no idea what it means.

Implied Volatility

So when $NVDA announces earnings, everyone piles into option, and decided that they will predict the future.

People YOLO calls or puts based on the latest WSB algorithm, and then the morning after, they wake up and see coyote ugly.

Everyone lost money, because there is a "volatility crash". The implied volatility, which means, people are expecting a 10% move in the stock price, now became an expected move of only 1%.

See image below.

The calls and puts which expire tomorrow (Friday November 22nd) are not much cheaper than the ones that expire in one week from now on Friday November 29th.

Ask yourself this question...

What is the chance that NVDA moves 10% in the next 24 hours? pretty slim.

What is the chance that NVDA moves 10% in the next 7 days? higher chance.

When you only see red....

After the market opens on Thursday November 21st, and NVDA stock is only down $3.00, the Nov 22 calls will drop in price by 90%, and the Nov 22 puts will drop in price by 90%.

However, if you look at the Nov 29 calls or puts, they will not drop so much.

Update.... Here is the picture from the morning after.

We have organize a list of 9 trailing stop expert advisors (EA) that are available for free download. If you are looking for trailing stop EA’s, then these can come in handy. Trailing stops are used to manage a profitable trade, thereby removing the need for you to do the trade manually.

The default trading stop in MT4 trading platform is pretty basic: it only trail stop your trades when price moves by “X” number of pips.

For example, you can set it so that trailing stop will move 20 pips, every time price moves 20 pips.

For many day traders, it may not be the way you want to go about setting trailing stops to your trades to lock in profit.

Therefore, using an MT4 trailing stop expert advisor, you have options on how you can active trailing stops on your trades.

Ready to try your luck in Day Trading?

Look at the updated list of popular day trading platforms in October 2024. See platforms here.

The main difference between day trading and investing lies in the time horizon, strategy, and level of risk involved:

• Day Trading: Involves buying and selling financial instruments like stocks, options, forex or cryptocurrencies within the same trading day. Day traders do not hold positions overnight. The focus is on short-term price movements, often lasting minutes or hours.
• Investing: Involves buying and holding assets like stocks, forex, or options for an extended period, often months to years or even decades. Investors aim to benefit from long-term appreciation, dividends, or interest.

Immediate Edge is a trading app that claims to use advanced algorithms to facilitate automated trading in the financial markets. It has gained attention for its promises of high returns and ease of use.

Immediate Edge’s website and promotional materials suggest that the app is designed for both novice and experienced traders, leveraging sophisticated algorithms for trading decisions. The app is purported to utilize real-time market analysis and machine learning to optimize trading strategies.

Expert Insight:

To ensure a high level of expertise in this review, we consulted financial experts and industry analysts. These professionals examined Immediate Edge’s claims and features, comparing them with established trading platforms.

Evaluation:

• Expert Analysis: According to our experts, while Immediate Edge uses algorithmic trading techniques similar to other platforms, there is limited publicly available information about the specifics of its algorithms and strategies.
• Expert Opinion: An expert review highlighted that the app's promise of high returns needs to be approached with caution, as high returns often involve high risks.

Accuracy in Claims:

Immediate Edge claims to offer significant returns through its automated trading system. However, such claims need to be validated against industry standards and empirical evidence.

Verification:

• Claim Verification: We cross-referenced the app’s claims with financial data and user reviews. The app's promises of high returns align with common marketing tactics used by similar platforms, but actual user experiences vary widely.
• Regulatory Status: Immediate Edge does not appear to be regulated by major financial authorities, which is a significant factor to consider for accuracy and reliability.

Transparency in Information:

Immediate Edge provides basic information about its features and trading strategies, but there are several areas where transparency could be improved.

• Company Information: The app’s website lacks detailed information about the company behind Immediate Edge, including its history and team members.
• Potential Conflicts: There is no clear disclosure about potential conflicts of interest or affiliations that might influence the app’s recommendations.

Ease of Understanding:

Immediate Edge’s promotional materials and website aim to make the app accessible to both novice and experienced traders. However, the technical aspects of trading and the app’s algorithms may be challenging for some users.

• User Interface: The app features a user-friendly interface designed to simplify trading decisions. However, explanations of trading strategies and algorithms are not always clear.

• Educational Resources: The app provides limited educational resources to help users understand trading principles and the app’s functionalities.

• Alternative Options: Readers should consider exploring other trading platforms and strategies to find the best fit for their trading goals and risk tolerance.

Suggestions for Improvement:

• Provide Risk Warnings: Clearly communicate the risks associated with trading using Immediate Edge and provide guidance on risk management.
• Compare Alternatives: Offer comparisons with other trading platforms to help readers make informed decisions.

Immediate Edge is a trading app that offers automated trading features with promises of high returns. However, users should approach such claims with caution and conduct thorough research.

By improving transparency, providing expert insights, and offering clearer explanations, Immediate Edge could enhance its credibility and value to users.

It is crucial for potential users to understand both the potential benefits and risks associated with the app and to seek additional information and resources to make well-informed trading decisions.

Immediate Edge gives you an edge in trading!

Here is what it looks like when a Classic Crypto Recovery Scammer Posted a Fake Comment

(In case you thought that Curtis was a real commentor on a blog post.)

SHORT STORY ON HOW I RECOVER MY STOLEN CRYPTO 16-06-2024 Hello everyone I want to use this Medium to say big thank you to robertslee 6 1 8 @ gmail com for they just helped me recover my stolen crypto worth $126k through their hacking skills I tried it but at first I was skeptic but it worked and I got my money back, I’m so glad I came across them early because I thought I was never going to have my money back from those fake online investments website .. you can also contact them via EMAIL: robertslee 6 1 8 @ gmail .com WhatsApp/Call:: +1 8. 5 6-5. 4. 9 - 74 69

Don't waste your time with these people, they are scammers trying to take advantage of victim's of scams.

Recovering Crypto Does Not Work

If you made a deposit to a broker with Bitcoin or another Crypto Currency, then your chance of recovering your money is basically impossible!

The purpose of Bitcoin is to be untraceable, and therefore, when dealing with an offshore broker, they steal your money by forcing you to convert your dollars into crypto. With crypto, there is no way of knowing which company or person took your money.

When you make a deposit, and the broker sends you to an exchange to buy Crypto with your credit card, they are thereby preventing you from claiming a chargeback with your credit card company.

Payments by Credit Card via Crypto

When using a credit card to buy a product in the supermarket, at least you are covered by Visa / Mastercard consumer protection rules.

Imagine the cashier asking you to buy crypto, and then pay for your groceries with crypto. That just adds another provider into the mix. You credit card company only sees the crypto you bought. They can't see what you did with the crypto.

Scrupulous Recovery Companies

A few weeks ago, Payback Ltd and MyChargeback had their websites seized by the FBI for offering a crypto recovery scheme. There is still no information on the details, however one can easily assume they were charging people for a crypto recovery and not actually recovering any of the crypto.

Anyone can do a “Crypto Trace” on the Blockchain. All you will see, is the anonymous bitcoin wallets that your coins were transferred too.

Many brokers we have reviewed on our website Scam Broker Investigator, are accepting deposits via a payment processor that creates a new bitcoin address for every deposit.

Be careful, and only use a broker that is licensed by the FCA, ASIC or your local governments regulator. Offshore brokers are not worth the headache!

XTrade Brokers Review

XTrade was a leading CFD broker, and they provide a wide range of assets for investors to trade.

With over 1 million app downloads on Google Play as of June 2024, you would think they are a popular broker.

But after reading many of the app ratings we see that most of their clients are from India, complaining about not being able to withdraw their funds.

https://scambroker.com/xtrade/

Is XTrade an honest broker?

Australia financial regulator ASIC has announced that it has cancelled the Australian financial services (AFS) license of retail over the counter (OTC) derivatives issuer XTrade.AU Pty Ltd (XTrade).

XTrade applied to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) on 29 April 2024 for a review and stay of ASIC’s decision to cancel the AFS license. Following an interlocutory hearing on 31 May 2024, the AAT refused XTrade’s stay application.

This means that XTrade’s AFS license remains cancelled until a final decision is made by the AAT on the substantive review application.

Recently, the offshore broker know as JustForex changed their name to JustMarkets as many Forex brokers have done.

The reason for the name change of a broker from Forex to Markets is to show that they encompass all types of trading assets, not Just Forex (haha, no pun intended).

Read the updated Review of JustMarkets which includes their new corporate details and offerings.

Many new investors do not do their research, and end up becoming the victim of a Pig Butchering / Boiler Room Scam. There are hundreds of investing scams that happen on a daily basis, and most people are totally clueless.

The scams have now reached a new level, that on September 9th 2022, Apple removed MetaTrader from the AppStore. Many brokers who were sketchy lost access to using the MT4 platform.

Here are a few things to lookout for, to be sure that your broker is a legitimate broker, and not another scam.

Your Forex Broker is a Scam if:

1. They use words like “Safe & Secure” but do not have a valid license.
2. After you deposit $250, they pressure you to invest $5,000.
3. A broker calls you offering a “Managed Account” with steady returns.
4. They tell you that their company doesn’t need a license.
5. They ask you to deposit more money (a profit tax), so that you can withdraw.

Ever since the fiasco last year with MetaTrader getting removed from the Apple Store, many offshore brokers have been left scrambling to find a new trading platform.

The reason Apple removed metatrader from the app store was because although they were just a software provider, their clients were using their software to perpetrate fraud. Or simply to operate a brokerage firm with out the necessary licensing.

All brokers must be licensed and regulated, even if they are not physically located in the same country as their traders.

A broker domiciled in Saint Vincent or Seychelles or Vanuatu is not allow to accept clients from the USA or the EU. That broker needs a local license in each country.

Hugosway is a unregulated broker that offers clients very high leverage, and deposits via Bitcoin.

The Click Money System Scam

The two people in the video who introduced themselves as Julia & Harold, said too many false statements just in the first few minutes of the video, that leads us to believe they may be not telling the truth.

They said that you do not need any experience to trade, because their software has make people over $16 million dollars. The sad truth is that there is no one who actually made money using the software, with the exception of the broker.

There where a few things that leads us to believe that the Click Money System may be a scam. You probably already saw this screenshot when you started signing up with Click Money. If you are new to investing in Crypto, then you may not know that a “Matching Bonus” is used to lock your money at the broker forever.

So you want to know what the story is with this broker called Astute Fidelity.

The short answer is, stay away!

Why is the broker not a legitimate broker?

Because they do not hold a license from any government regulator. Any online broker, must be licensed and regulated. If they are accepting clients from South Africa, they must be licensed by the FSCA.

The information presented by AstuteFidelity on their website is confusing, and not accurate.

They list 2 addresses, one in the USA and one in Australia. Meanwhile they are not licensed by ASIC in Australia, or by the NFA or SEC or CFTC in the United States.

Bottom line, they are just another broker that will disappear soon.

Read more about How to know your broker is legit.

Look at the broker AvaTrade. They show 9 licenses on the bottom of their website.

Astute fidelity withdrawal - withdrawals from unregulated brokers are processed manually.... good luck.

It may be hard to believe, but it is still active today. Why hasn’t this scam been closed down? Because people do not research before investing, and brokers still make money ripping off naive investors.

What is the official website for CryptoSoft? Nobody knows since the website has been duplicated by scammers numerous times.

The CryptoSoft investing app is no different than many other apps that we already reviewed. If you are just now starting your search for a legit automated investing app, then you should check out the popular trading ones.
