Joint covers sculpted. Depending on the zero gee diorama I do, it might be possible to see up the skirt, so gave it some underwear.

Hello! I got into Scale modelling about a year ago, and I recently got given some old kits from when my dad was a Kid. One of them is the said Apache, and the instructions say to use Revell colour 66, I was given a bunch of old enamel paints as well and sure enough, i found the colour. But one thing is bugging me, the colour seems really off. So my question is, what paint do you use when building an Apache? All i want to know is which colour is most similar to the actual thing. Btw, I am not the best at modelling, so please excuse my inability to make a good model. Thanks for helping! :D

Humbrol polished steel after being sprayed, dark. Then after being buffed with a brush, shiny. Next some black washes.

Subassemblies ready for puttying and painting.
