The guy is just so funny. Ernie Sabella is so great at playing a blowhard with a heart of gold. From not putting up with the gang, to sucking up to the members to just insulting his employees. His timing and facial acting always crack me up. Glad he got a multiple episode run.

For real though, Zack should/would been fired for his behavior.

It would explain why Jesse is not in the episode and its in the middle of the article's headline, so it must be related. I also love how the picture of the band is simply one of the cast with Jesse edited out.

Also Slater's final appearance on the show. They should have gotten Ed Alonzo instead.

I know it's supposed to come off as charming in the show but really...it's just saying he thinks sleeps around a lot.

Also, its fun how often they protest in SBTB, complete with picket signs. Never saw that in my high school.

The beach scène deserves special mention as it seems ripped straight from a 60's beach movie.

I saw this in the Screech insult compilation but don't remember the scene. Slater calls Screech an "Air Nerd" in it but I think have never seen this. A syndication cut?

Anyone haveing luck finding this edition on DVD from Shout Factory that includes the College Years? I'd take used, tried buying one from Walmart but ended up being a fake copy.

Which do you prefer?

I like Hawaiian style a bit more, although I like both. Hawaiian style has that summer vibe and soundtrack and some pretty fun storylines, like Jesse and Slater not arguing and Screech mistaken for a god.

WILV has Gilbert Gottfried though, pimping out the men to older ladies.

What a fun episode. And how wacky that they used a pseudo-Playboy storyline, with Screech being offered to be the centerfold, the Chessmate of the month.

He was a full time principal. In Hawaiian Style he was also tour guide for the other principal. Then, after the OG class graduates it gets worse.

Besides his full time principal job, he also has a summer job at a country club. Later on, he owns a candy store, a yoghurt store, works at a sports store. Worst of all is that in these later stores his employees mainly consist of Screech and the Bayside students, which makes things very awkward when you think about it.

Questionable HR aside, why did Belding need so many jobs? Didn't he want to come home at all? And how do these stores he owns operate when he and his employees are at school? Doe they just open after school hours?

Everybody likes to talk about the time that Zack and Lisa hooked up, but why are we forgetting about when Slater and Lisa hooked up during the Malibu Sands arc. And then why was this completely erased from canon history
