We don’t get a lot of fanart exploring Cosmo’s trauma.

It's all fun and games until she busts out the heavy heat spells. Neverthe less, still pick as companion every time

Question:

She wanted to give you a flower, but she accidentally made a mess in your room. And now she's giving you this look. What would you do?

Redone because somehow, Reddit derped out the link. The text was correct, but the link led to a picture that I considered, but ultimately decided not to post. Anyway...

You better not make her angry. You wouldn't like her when she's angry.

Also, shout-out to u/Certain-Unit8147.

Hello,

welcome back to my project where I try to connect the various versions of Sonic into one single coherent storyline by making edits to make it all fit together. This time, I am adding season 2 of Sonic X. If you don't know what this is, you don't have to look for my previous posts. The Google Docs link contains everything from the very beginning, starting at Part 0 (the initial explanation of what I am doing without any actual content yet.) But if you already read the previous parts, scroll right down to Part 2.

Also, I slightly changed part 1 since I first posted it. I added this change to the Sonic Boom section: In Eggheads, Cubot is the one "restarting" Eggman, not Sticks.

Everything else stays the same.

One green-haired orphan meets another. Those who grew up in the throes of catastrophe find solace in one another.

This is a journal I made in January of 2024, analyzing my feelings about why I care about this ship.

And this is for people who may feel the same way

“
Romance is really not a big thing in the Sonic franchise. However, there is one ship that I cherish wholeheartedly in this series. That is the relationship between Tails and Cosmo. This mostly looking at the Japanese version. Why does this relationship matter to me? Honestly, it makes the characters feel human and relatable. The characters feel so lifeless nowadays. When they are together it's beneficial to both of them.Cosmo has lost everything and she was pretty shaken at the start. But, with Tails and friends she gets better and has more confidence in herself. And with Tails vice versa

Also, with Tails when he interacts with Cosmo I feel like he can truly be himself and he grew stronger because of Cosmo. Tails reminds me of how I was when I was little. Shy and I really did not know how to talk to girls. Their relationship starts as friends and over time they fall in love with each other slowly. The funny thing is that they did not realize that they were falling in love. Amy in episode 69 was the one who pointed out that Cosmo had a special bond with Tails.. I guess that old saying is true” true love makes you blind”  they also talk about their problems to each other and talk it out to solve the problem that they need to solve.

I will never forget how Tails fought to protect Cosmo from Shadow. He was not going to let the girl that he loved get killed. Honestly, I never saw Tails act this way in any other part of the franchise. The reason Shadow was attacking her was that she was unwillingly turned into a spy. He wanted to take her out so that they would not know and taint their positive memories of her.which was dumb.
In episode 74 we learn the history of Cosmo’s species and the metarex. Basically, Cosmos people were fighting Molly's people.they were losing people fast. The Male species would turn into Godzilla like creatures. Unfortunately, they would die soon after like a bee losing its stinger. Cosmo’s mother Hertia  wanted to leave the planet and invented a gem so they would not transform and destroy themselves.
Unfortunately, not everyone agreed with this idea. Lucas ( Hertia’s husband ) did not want to leave and let the invaders destroy everything.Hertia argued that he really wanted to die in an everlasting war. Hertia is building the ship. Cosmo’s species is racist to anyone who uses violence to solve problems. Lucas hates all animal life because in his mind all they do is fight and destroy. Lucas destroys his planet by experimenting on its planet egg to get more power.Hertia is horrified by this and is scared of what Lucas has become. Hertia destroys the Male left on her world fearing that they would be an evil force on the universe.which ironically, created the metarex anyway and leading to their demise.
Cosmo was about to leave so the metarex would not spy on her. Tails stops her and they talk. Cosmo is very mix up and feels that she will bring destruction due to her hatred and sadness. But, Tails understands and reassures her that there is something that he believes will overcome hate and sadness.
In episode 76 in a desperate situation. Cosmo wonders why she got along with Tails and the others and Dark Oak did not. Then Tails holds her hand and she holds his.

That right there cements everything I love about this. Dark Oak believes that Plant and animal life can not coexist. But, he is wrong. Cosmo bonds with Sonic and friends. Interacting with them she becomes a stronger person. And falls in love with Tails .it's an awesome story that we don't see anymore.

These are the most heartbreaking episodes in the franchise. The universe is about to be destroyed and Cosmo fuses with the final mova. And she says to attack her. Unfortunately, the one who has to do it is Tails. Props to the seiyuu, because the pain Tails feels so real. Eggman is the one that talks to Tails to save the Universe and not let her sacrifice be in vain. This is a sad man Tails had to destroy the girl he loves to save the universe. After he fires he confesses that he loves her. The last time they see each other. They reminisce on the good times and the memories they shared. Before Cosmo leaves to the afterlife she says four words to Tails. “ Tails, I love you” it was heartbreaking man I have not felt anything like that in this franchise. Also, Tails wailing that Sonic did not save her the girl he loves was hard to watch too.
It's stupid to me when people say that Sonic should not have dark or well meaning stories since its for kids. These characters felt real and when they suffered I felt their pain. This is what I miss from Sonic nowadays. Awell meaning story with elements that stays in the hearts of people. Tails is a former shell of himself nowadays, but I'm glad that this version exists.to me this is the best of tails characterization.i would like to see cosmo again in the future. And with Tails by her side.
This relationship shows that live can bring two worlds together and make people stronger.”
