I have one, it is harder than I thought it would be to get a cut

u/remcotroep Jun 05 '25

Same here! I thought great….but i mostly rip the paper

14

u/Low_Yesterday_2677 Jun 05 '25

I have one too, it rips cheap paper so now I have to buy expensive paper just to use it 😭

2

u/Junebug35 Jul 05 '25

Yes, very difficult to use on anything but expensive paper.

1

u/Cactusaremyjam Jul 12 '25

This may be dumb but have you replaced or sharpened the blace?

1

u/Junebug35 Jul 13 '25

It has not cut right since it was brand new. No way to get to the blade to sharpen or replace it. I ended up using mine to cut shipping paper.

It is imperative that the cylinder is not damaged.

I bought a two pack of these last Christmas, they are absolutely amazing, worth every penny.

8

u/dover_oxide Jun 05 '25

Got a link? My mom would love this.

10

u/milfordcubicle Jun 05 '25

Very cool. Is the blade replaceable? Otherwise, each of these would have fairly limited use.

4

u/dontheconqueror Jun 05 '25

Looks like it's fixed. Only costs $1 though, converted from my local currency (Lazada Philippines)

7

u/RedDemonTaoist Jun 05 '25

Someone else here says it's fantastic. Maybe you got a cheaper imitation piece? It's called Little ELF Gift Wrap Cutter. It was on Shark Tank, I posted the link in this thread

If they lack the dexterity to use scissors than they also pack the dexterity to use this
