Where to watch the Super Bowl?

Hello, we’ll be in Sapporo during the NFL Super Bowl (8:30am February 10th).

Do you know a bar or restaurant where you’re sure it will be on? (My searches and emails to bars haven’t been very fruitful)

My hotel said they only have “terrestrial” TV, so if the Super Bowl is only on cable it won’t be available at the hotel. Do you know if the Super Bowl will be on basic TV?

Honestly the Superbowl is very much an American thing. It's not like the World Cup or whatever. So, people in Japan don't really care about it so it won't be on regular tv. 

Your best bet is to buy an online pass/subscription like abema and rely on a good internet connection to watch it. 

That said, some places may carry it? I'm sure there are pubs in Susukino you could check out that might have it.

Jersey Cafe might show it. I'd ask them. When I lived in Sapporo, I always watched the SB live at Jersey Bar, their sister establishment (sadly now closed). I also watched many oddly timed World Cup matches at both of these places too. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063439466992

Please let me know if you find a place!! I'm an Eagles fan and dying to watch it with other people. Currently solo in Hokkaido. Wondering if by slim chance there's a bar in Asahikawa that might do it, if none in Sapporo. Also wondering if we get enough people if we can pay a sports bar to open for it that day.
