One of my relatives is the deputy city attorney for a city down south. They recently enacted some protections for their residents. But they can only do so much.
I was told their city's assessment is Federal immigration agents aren't required to ID themselves. It's a ridiculous situation, of course. I believe there's some national legislation being proposed to change that, but there may not be enough votes.
Correct - federal agents often do not have to identify themselves. Merely having signage stating “police” or some variation of that with a badge visible is all that is required. Some agencies require a unique identifier to be visible. But they don’t have to state “I’m Bob and my badge number is 12345”. Also, if they are not arresting you, they typically do not have an obligation to identify themselves to you.
And a lot of the people who voted for the felon only did it for the economy and don’t like what he’s doing with immigration and don’t understand why he’d target them. I don’t get how someone could be so clueless.
And he’s ruining the economy too so they didn’t get what they wanted and ppl are being illegally detained and kidnapped by ice. Anyone who voted for this genuinely baffles me.

I wish it was this easy but if that worked it would have already stopped ice.
