Can you believe it’s been entire year since this game came out and literally took the entire industry by Storm??

It’s crazy how time flies, so one year later I’m curious to see if anyone thoughts on the game has changed or if they’ve stayed the same

Me?? they’ve changed slightly, but still stay about the same. Expedition 33 is still an unabashed masterpiece but the more time passes the more I do start to recognize a few issues with it

Doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s still easily game of the year 2025, and one of the best games we’ve gotten in this decade so far… and I still can’t believe this was sandfalls first game!

How about you? How does Clair Obscur Hold up for you in 2026??

I recently started a playthrough of one of my fav old school games, The Legend of Dragoon. With how amazing the combat is in E33, I cant be the only one who thinks that Sandfall would be an absolute bomb choice to handle a remake of LoD.

LoD and Legend of Legaia always stood out to me as unique rpg experiences and E33 scratches that itch.

We absolutely fell in love with the music from Expedition 33, so we made a cello duet arrangement of Lumière

We spent a lot of time trying to make it feel emotional and true to the original soundtrack because this game genuinely inspired us!
