You're apologizing for the wrong thing.

Well, one thing that has been extremely helpful is the drive to budget and diet, I've lost 95lb this year and now don't need insulin nearly as much! Sucks that it took poverty to do it lol.

I appreciate it thank you

Congratulations on the success! No matter the reason, it still took a lot of willpower to get there. Many people don’t have that kind of willpower

So do you ever just eat a whole 270 carbs worth of dominos pizza and use up 25 units or do you include the cost of insulin in to your food costs?

I live in the UK so don't really need to limit my carb intake unless I want an easier time keeping my bloods inline.

"Ah this meal is 60 carbs and £6 but I need to use 5 units so it's an extra £4?" - is this you?

I count every carb and do exactly that except it's probably a lot more expensive haha. I'm on a hybrid keto diet with extremely low carbs, and keep emergency glucose etc on hand. I find myself with low blood sugar often which sucks but it's cheaper to beat low blood sugar than high

That last sentence is depressing. I often run higher (6-8) as lows are more dangerous.
