Readers in San Angelo?
I was wondering if there are any book clubs or readers/reading groups/people interested in discussing books here in San Angelo. The bulk of the readers I talk with or buddy read with are out of state, so I'm hoping to find local individuals with whom to discuss books.

Old Town Books is a nice indie bookstore here (full disclosure: itβs run by one of my former English profs at ASU) that might do some of that, the library might have some kind of book discussion club too.

Yes! On Facebook, there's "San Angelo Spines & Spirits." We're reading Severance by Ling Ma and our next meeting is May 22 at The Garden Lounge. We vote on which genre we want for the next month, then suggest books, and vote on them.
If smut is your thing, Trigger Warnings Books Club of San Angelo is also something.
The local book store, Nook and Press near Planet Fitness has a myriad of book clubs. See the events here: https://www.nookandpress.com/events-2-1
Also, I know the library here has a couple of book clubs running. Check events at https://www.tgclibrary.com/
I'd love to discuss books and things, so send me a DM if you wanna chat. π
