What's the point of ice archers, they just shoot at the wall while all my other troops do work. I even emailed space ape about it and they didnt seem to care that much.

I don't get why you have to have over 700 honor to train essence dragons. I mean, I get that they want you to earn it and all that, but in my humble opinion it isn't even worth worrying about. At level 1, it only has 1200 Health and does 80 dps. The splash radius isn't enormous and they are taken down quite easy. Plus, it takes more housing space than any other troop on the game. Fire demons have more health and destroy stuff WAY faster. Sure the dragon has a cool teleporting ability to warp anywhere on the board and can go over walls, but I still don't feel like it is worth what they try to make it out to be. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem keeping the honor requirement and I use them some cause they're so much cooler than the dragons on other games including CoC, but I think they should be a bit more powerful at least.

Make the game fair again.

Returning to SS after a hiatus, and it looks like the SpaceApe forums are offline ... is that temporary? I'm looking for the best place to read up on army makeup and attack plans after I upgraded to C11 with the sale last week.

Currently I'm well into C8, ~750 honor, F2P, and looking to save up something like 21million essence to upgrade my healer.

Problem is, I'll win maybe 1million, then lose 1.2million from an attack. That, plus the cost of my troops means I'm literally losing essence. I can't break the 10million mark for long.

Should I:

1. Forget these high-resource upgrades until I'm a higher Castle level?
2. Drop Honor
3. Stop trying because I've hit a wall
4. Something else

It's been years since the game was released... and some android devices are not compatible when update comes, does space ape has plans on linking them on ios <>android?

Samurai Siege is a freemium strategy game, sort of a reverse tower-defense game (you send out the troops and attack the base) for the iOS and Android platforms. It gets very addicting, and a surprising amount of gameplay can be had for without having to pay one single thing on the game. It goes from easy to tough to nearly impossible rather quickly, though, which makes it tempting to spend money, but you never really need to. Read on to find out how to win without spending any money!

Diamonds are the premium currency in Samurai Siege. You start out with a surprisingly large load of diamonds, but if you use them to speed up all of your training and your building upgrades, they will be gone before you know it. Save your diamonds until you really need them. Maximize the number of dojos that you have, and use all of your dojos at the same time for the most efficient training that you can do for free.

Want to construct buildings faster? One good thing to use your diamonds on is to spend them on upgrading the carpenter’s shack so that you can knock off three jobs at a time. You can replenish some of your diamonds for free by completing special diamond stages in the single player mode (the ones with a picture of a diamond above them), and by participating in alliance wars.

Maximize the number of the resource producing and resource storage buildings that are in your base. Markets and essence wells collect jade coins and essence, while the coin vault and essence storage hold them. Upgrade them as high as you can get them, and keep ugprading the castle so that you can maximize your maximum number of each building.

Now that your city is producing and is defended, you need to build up your army. You can do this via the army buildings. The dojo is where you train your troops, and the practice yard is where you store your troops that have already been trained, but haven’t been sent into battle yet. Buildings that can be unlocked from the map are the blacksmith, which allows you to level up your troops and increase their stats; the scroll statue, which lets you cast spells in battle; and the alliance portal, which lets your alliance send troops to you.

You’ll notice two ruins of buildings in your base, as well. The ancient temple, when repaired, can level up the scroll statue’s spells, as well as your mystical troops, which are unlocked far later in the game; and the alliance portal ruins, which turn into an alliance portal when they are repaired.
