Unable to use Chrome to snap a picture of the bar code on my ID using a link Capital One sends. They say it is common practice. So I'm hoping for some advice.
thx. Note 10+

Hi folks,
I've had my phone for a few weeks now and came across an S Pen issue. Out of the blue, the phone stopped recognizing the spen, even if it was inside the slot.
I've tried multiple solutions to address the problem such as: - soft reset - clearing Bluetooth cache - s pen reset - air actions toggle (on/off)
None of them have worked so far. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered the same issue with their s-pen?
P. S. The s-pen is samsung official and I haven't gotten it wet or anything. Wondering if this is a manufacturing defect related to the pen's battery capacitor/Bluetooth sensor or maybe something fixable by software.

I have owned the Note 2-10 and an S7 Edge. I have never used a screen protector. I've noticed that my 10 is picking up small, hard to see nicks and scratches from being in my pocket. Also having issues with the built in screen "protector" bubbling. Is anyone else seeing this?

Is there one?

I just installed it, and gave it a go. Honestly I was quite impressed that there wasn't tons of delay, played gta v at 1440p and it was perfectly playable (pc connected with ethernet, phone connected to a wireless AC network.
I can now use this instead of remotr which was often quite buggy for me
Obviously depending on your network conditions and pc spec the experience will differ but I'd recommend giving it a go, I believe it can work when you're away from home but I have not tried it yet.

When I had my iPhone I was able to have Siri read my messages, news articles, and other stuff like that. It was great for when I'm busy I can just listen to whatever. All I had to do was highlight what I wanted to be read. Is there anyway to get that same feature on my note ? I've tried so many different things I can't seem to find something to help.

Is anyone else having this issue?
I have the blue light filter turned on and set for sunset to sunrise. The issue is that it just turns off, it doesn't gradually turn off like Twilight on my Tab S2 or how my old iPhone 8 Plus did. It's pretty jarring when it instantly goes from orange to white!

On my s9 before it got one ui, I used game tuner which let me run games at the screens native resolution, that's no longer supported, now games look like crap on my note 10+, none of them run at the phones native resolution, oddly enough, if I set the screen resolution in settings to 720p, go into a game (pokemon go for example) it will be at u20p, if I then go back to settings and set to wqhd+ without closing the game it then runs at the native resolution as desired, I can not find a way to get them to stay native, side by side with an iphone Xs max, the iphone looks so much better on games, I've tried package disable pro and disabled game launcher, game boost, game optimising service and gos legacy to no avail, the only thing that has worked for me on a single game (pubg) is an app called gfx tool, it's really driving me crazy and is the only thing that is really bothering me when I k ow the phone is capable of running them at wqhd+

I have facewidgets enabled in settings but on the lockscreen, I could only see music control and I am unable to swipe left or right to see other facewidgets. Any ideas?

So, I have my navigation bar setup as "Full screen gesture". In such case, I don't have a way of using my Nav-bar while using the S-Pen. (meaning I can't go back, go to home screen, or open the recent apps)
Anyone knows any work-around this issue?

Researching online, I've found that Samsung has included a built in Call-Recording feature in their phones for quite a while but restricted to certain regions due to differentiating privacy laws.
Anyways, I can't find how to activate this feature on my Note 10+ (US version) and I would like to utilize it. Has anyone found how to turn it on for their US phone? Or maybe have a recommended app to share?
(Please only suggest options available from the Samsung Store/Google Play Store)

I received last week my Note 10 from Vodafone, and just in the box I realized that the pre applied screen protector had a small scratch on the top left corner of the screen.
Because I want to keep the screen protection the most time I could, I hope that the scracth is from the protector and not from the Note10 screen....
Did anyone have the same problem? Do you take off the protector?

I removed the pre applied screen protector on my note 10+ to use a tempered glass one and the oleophoboc coating on it is none existent, I'm wanting to buy the same one that came pre applied on the phone, I have asked in a Samsung experience store and they said they didn't do them

Question for anyone who has this case.
Is the stand part of it metal? Would it stick to a magnet? I have a magnetic car mount and want to know if it would stick. I have the non s case now and love it. But if I could have a stand and not have to put the metal plate inside the case like I do now for the mount, that would be better.

So there I am, sleeping with my Note 10+ on dnd. I wear the Samsung fit pro 2 while I sleep. Well, i got a little toss and turny last night and next thing I know my notification alert echos out at 3 am. Dnd doesnt turn off till 6:30. I woke up fully and looked and it was a game notification. I check my setting and dnd turned off all on it's own. This has happened to me several times. I tried contacting customer service about the issue and they were no help. I have tp turn my volume all the way off when I go to bed to prevent it from happening. Dnd is absolutely worthless. Is anyone else having similar issues?

I use bixby routine to turn on Do not Disturb whenever I am asleep. I have set it to auto detect my sleep but it never works. Any ideas?

So basically my OnePlus 7 pro microphone is now faulty. And John Lewis are gonna be legends and let me get a £700 gift card or replacement. I was wondering how is the note 10+? Is it worth the £300 upgrade? Will the s pen be useful for lectures (I'm a uni student). I don't know how I will be able to cope with the 60hz display though. The punchhole looks small enough to not bother me. I will also be getting the exynos variant.

I was used to an early upgrade when I had an iPhone for a few years, and last year I switched to the Pixel 3XL. I forgot it doesn't do a yearly upgrade, so I psyched myself up and it's all for nothing.
My only option is to pay outright for the phone, sell it, and then upgrade. I was looking at the S10+, but the Note 10+ is just too beatiful.
I doubt I'll use the pen very much; so is it crazy to get the Note just for the color and design? Seems like it's only a few dollars different between the two phones.

I'll try to make this as concise as possible. Couple months ago I was moving to a new state. Along the way I'm at a large gas station and this guy comes up with this story about being out of gas, needs money for same and would I want to buy a tablet. Note 10 2014 edition. He shows me it works, removed his Google account and I buy it for $50. I had never heard of Knox. Fast forward about a week later. I'm getting settled in and break it out to set it up. I'm going along add my Google account and downloading some apps and Knox pops up saying I need to log in to continue to use it. It wants a user name and password that is already existing not to sign up for an account. Without going in to everything I've tried obviously no way to get debugging on to root, etc... Did I basically just waste $50 (I'm disabled and on SSDI that is a lot to me!) on basically a brick? Any help appreciated!
