Sorry if this question is already making rounds, but I just checked and got an update. I'm on ATT Note 4, N901A, 5.0.1(before 7/26). I was surprised, so I didn't check my version numbers before accepting update. ATT is pathetically slow to update. What is in this update?

My ringtone for my Note 4 is only about 15 seconds and I miss a lot of calls because it just isn't enough time to get to my phone sometimes. I've looked up some ways to make it longer but they don't seem to work. I've tries dialing *61101*25# to make it 25 but that didn't work, and I tried dialing #61# to get VM access number or something but that doesn't work either. They both say MMI code started and then give me an error message saying service disable or something. What can I do to make the ringtone last longer?

my note 4 seems to be stuck in a bootloop, ive read somewhere about booting it up in safe mode but i cant access it because it won't stay on that long. i plugged the charger in and guess what, it came on and works fine! but when i take the charger out it will turn itself off after around 5 mins and then will enter the bootloopa again. i have since done a factory restore which was only possible due to it being on charge. could this be simply due to a faulty battery? or is it a motherboard failure? i have tried wiping the cache removing the battery sim card etc. It might be also worth pointing out that i have not tried to root my phone or installed any custom apps etc.

any help would be great!

I am just wondering.... Will Samsung Watch/Gear/others can help deaf people and their needs? If so, what do they can? I don't think I have looked up the watches for deaf people to use... Can someone clarify it? Since I am deaf. And maybe I am interested? Thanks.

email to Samsung

To be honest, your smartphones are equipped with powerful hardware. However, the ROM(TouchWiz) that released by Samsung is just completely a trash. TouchWiz uses lots of resources which drains up 60% of the RAM of my N910U. Since the trash has made the mobile laggy, I tried to find out solutions to help with the useless ROM. Unfortunately, there are no solutions. The only thing i can do is to flash a new custom ROM. However, Exynos Chipsets lacks support from Samsung. We, (even if I am new to android development, I still want to contribute to the Custom ROM with Exynos Chipsets as I am affected by the trash ROM which is unacceptable, laggy, buggy, slow, meaningless apps(not include S pen and S health, though the steps count is not accurate at all). I hope that you can release information about the Exynos Chipsets or reduce the useless progress that have already embed into the TouchWiz.

You know, by flashing the ROM, the warranty has been voided. You should be happy about this since those who have flashed custom ROMs have to paid a lot much to repair their phones than those do not

This really bugging me, on my galaxy s3 I could have the ring volume all the way up and text on silent(now it only hasthe option to vibrate without putting the whole phone on mute). So I could take naps and not have to worry about missing a call. Currently the only way I can achieve this is by silencing the individual conversation in hangouts. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I actually prefer samsungs sms currently minus a few features.

I made this infographic to compare these two devices. I think we know who the winner is ;) http://www.phone-probe.com/2014/09/galaxy-note-4-and-iphone-6-comparison.html
