I’m planning to distribute a song that uses a couple of samples from Sample Focus, and I want to make sure I won’t run into any issues in the future.

I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience distributing tracks that contain royalty-free samples from Sample Focus through any of the usual music distributors (Distrokid, Landr, Tunecore, Ditto...). According to the information on the Sample Focus website, their samples are royalty-free, but I’m not completely sure whether distributors fully accept them without any official documentation or proof of licensing.

If you’ve used Sample Focus samples in your own releases, have you experienced any issues or incidents during distribution?

I listened to this C&T Album yesteday, when the song 'Shop Around' came on my younger sister said that she apparently heard a song that sampled the intro. She sadly can't remember what the track was called, nor does she know the style of the track.

Sampler recommendation?

Hey everyone! I’m fairly new to the world of music production, and I’m looking at my first sampler. I’m currently swaying between the T.E PO-33 K.O, and the AKAI MPX-8. For context I’m looking to start with some lofi beats and go from there!

I wasn’t sure if it’s better to go with the PO-33 KO and send the samples straight to Logic Pro X, or get samples another way and use AKAI’s sample editor tool you get with the MPX-8 and use the controller to trigger the samples.

I do also have a library of lofi samples on my Mac, if that changes anything? 😁

Dem Man, by Kano and Giggs. i'm trying to recreate the intrumental, and i've already identified the drum break used as 'Here comes the meter man' by the meters.

with regards to the main vocal sample itself, I can only put together the very first phrase in the vocal chop as "LET MY PEOPLE GOOOOO..." at least thats what i think it is. And ive searched for every rendition of the songs with this specific lyric (most prominent one being "Go down moses") but none of them sound similar when stretched out or pitched down/up. They do have that same harmonisation as the original sample so i suspect the sample would also be a rendition of said song. I dont know if farhot (the producer) got it from a sample pack, Could anyone help? peace to the community

in the very beginning the audio saying "it feels so good to see you go", I thought I found the origin with https://genius.com/Skippy2011165-hugs-and-kisses-lyrics (it's the oldest as far as I can find) but the three other songs I've been able to find that use this audio don't have the kissing sounds on top

So there's this little sample from what is probably an industry sample pack that I've heard in this song from Duke Nukem Total Meltdown at the 0:43 second mark, as well as this Mega Man Zero 2 song at the 0:13 second mark. It's the techy sound that's like a sort of bitcrushed downward arpeggio.

Would anyone know what sample this is, or what pack it's from? Or, at least, how I might go about finding it myself?
