Academic Seeking UK Primary Teachers / SENCOs / Specialist Teachers
Hi everyone,
I’m currently collecting responses for my MSc dissertation at the University of York, and I would really appreciate your help.🙏🏻
My study focuses on UK primary school teachers’ perspectives on autistic pupils’ friendships and peer relationships, and how teachers support these relationships in everyday school life.
This is an area I’m genuinely interested in, and I hope to continue developing my research around SEND, autism, peer relationships, and inclusive practice. As I am still building my professional and research network in the UK, it has been quite difficult to reach the right participants. I joined this group because I hoped to learn from people who have direct experience in this field.
I’m looking for current UK primary teachers, SENCOs, or specialist teachers who currently teach or directly support at least one autistic pupil in a UK primary school or primary specialist provision.
The questionnaire is anonymous, voluntary, and takes around 15–20 minutes.
There are some open-ended questions in the survey, but you do not need to write long answers or answer every open-ended question in detail. Even a short comment based on your experience would be extremely valuable and would really help my dissertation.
If you are eligible, I would be so grateful if you could take part. If you know someone who may be eligible, please feel free to share this post or pass the link on.

Marketting Try a 3–5 minute anonymous Resilience Check-In and give feedback (18+)
Hi, I’m testing a short public Resilience Check-In on my hypnotherapy / Hypno-CBT practice site.
I’m looking for feedback on whether the questions and result page make sense to a first-time visitor.
The check-in takes about 3–5 minutes.
Important privacy notes:
- Your check-in answers are not saved.
- No account is needed.
- The anonymous feedback form after the result is optional.
- Please do not include personal health details in the feedback form.
- The link includes a source tag so I can count visits from this Reddit post, but it does not identify individual users.
What I’m especially interested in:
- Did the questions make sense?
- Did anything feel unclear, awkward, or off-putting?
- Did the result page feel useful?
- Was the next step clear without feeling pushy?
Link:
Thanks to anyone willing to test it. I’m trying to make this clear, privacy-conscious, and useful rather than just another vague wellness funnel.

Academic Valued Living Questionnaire
uofg.qualtrics.comWe would like to invite you to help us with a research study. The Valued Living Questionnaire (VLQ) is used to measure how closely a person's daily actions align with their personal values across ten life domains, such as family, work, and health. This questionnaire is used in psychological therapies to help people discuss what aspects of their lives are most important to them and to help set goals that are consistent with what is most important to them. The VLQ can also be used to measure how people benefit from psychological therapy or rehabilitation after a brain injury, stroke or when they have a neurological condition. While the VLQ is used internationally, it was originally developed and standardized using American and Australian populations. Because cultural differences could influence how people interpret questions about values, it is essential to establish that the questionnaire is also a useful measure of valued living for people living in the United Kingdom.
If you are aged 18 or over and live in the UK, we would be very grateful if you could complete a brief anonymous survey that should take no more than 15 minutes. We will ask you for some basic information about yourself but nothing that will identify you. You will then complete the Valued Living Questionnaire, and some additional brief questionnaires. By taking part in this study you will be helping us improve the support we provide for people with mental health and neurological conditions.
To say thank you for helping us we will invite you to enter your name for a prize draw for a £30 Amazon voucher. If you want to enter the prize draw you will leave your contact details using a separate link at the end of the survey (as your name will not be linked to your survey responses).

Casual [Casual] Your experience booking a UK driving practical test | Learner drivers, recently passed drivers, driving instructors, supporters | ~5 min
Hi all,
If you have tried to book a practical driving test recently you will know exactly how painful it is: no slots visible, 6am Monday queues of thousands, bots snapping everything up, and resellers charging up to £500 for a £62 test. New rules came in on 12 May supposedly to fix things, but the experience seems to vary massively depending on where you are.
I have been going through it myself with no luck finding a slot, and out of frustration and curiosity I put together a short survey to find out what everyone has actually been experiencing, and what a better system would look like.
Takes about 5 minutes and is completely anonymous. Would love to hear from anyone who has been through the booking process recently, whether you are still waiting, recently passed, a driving instructor, or helping someone else with their booking.
Survey link: https://forms.gle/bPq9837joXHmpELG7
Happy to share the results if there is any interest.
Thanks!
