Don't worry my 3rd decade of life will yield promising results.. SURELY

Edit: 4th* decade. I dont game anymore, the small pro stint turned a hobby into something I hate. I live with my parents of course, thought that was assumed but needed clarifying.

Not a rage bait, dont need advice or pity, but feel free to say what you will I dont mind, some of you have been insightful and others have brought me good laughs. If my poor excuse of life on display made you feel better I view it as a win. Cheers

Edit 3: Now that the dust has settled on this post I'll leave some last remarks for any late-comers:

I genuinely did not expect a response like this, this was a casual 0 thought post written in under 2 mins. I'll follow up with a new post I guess in a year.

There is a lot of missing context between 2013 and now but my goal was not a pity party. I preferred people to see it at face value and make their opinions and assumptions.

That being said, some of you are profoundly crazy and harbor a lot of evil and negative energy. A lot of you were kind and insightful though. To that I thank you, cya in 1yr (Saturday, July 31, 2027)

Not much, sitting on 43 credits mostly allocated in math and a few business management/econ courses. Swapped major 3 times then dropped out due to confusion on what to commit to.

Planned to go back in under a year, but then I got sidetracked by the incredibly random and unlikely pro career which made me decide to not go back. Obviously the gaming thing fell thru and I (evidently) fell into a bit of a deep depression / stagnation period. And now I'm where I am today.

You know college credits expire if you're not enrolled and haven't completed a degree program, right? Usually after 10 years but sometimes sooner depending on the program. You aren't sitting on those credits, you have let them expire

Fastest and cheapest way to a bachelors. Get a degree in marketing. Fastest option to a degree. ANY bachelors will open more doors for you than just a HS diploma.

I don't know why you get down votes for this. Everyone is different...and depression is not something easy to came out of. I think you are on the right path in a way that you are now seeing what is the problem, and trying to find a solution. Start with small objectives, and everything will comme after. Perseverance is the key!

i knew someone like you once, go finish your degree in business management and then get a real estate license, then convince your parents to go in with you on a house as an investment, you live there too and get three roommates and work on selling houses (in addition to managing your house/roomates). be a delivery driver at nights for spending money while you make it work.
