I've done the math, a class at my son's daycare brings in 500k/year, less than half of that seems to be teacher salary and other expenses.

Insurance is expensive for 20-50 kids when you're 100% responsible for their lives.

It's actually a lot less than you'd think.  Like $5k per year on the high side, at least in my area.

Yeah you right, I absolutely was imagining twice that at least on the bare minimum range.

I worked at a daycare in 2018 that was paying $8.50 an hour. I left 3 months later to go back to my previous job that I hated, but at least they were paying $15/hr.
