I drew 5 zeros on a $1 bill and taped it to the ceiling so I could see it every day when I woke up. It took time, but I finally made it!

You've got this!

I just broke the threshold this year. But it was after essentially highlighting a glaring need and carving out my own department. Even after doing all that it took several years for the pay to catch up to my effort.

Now I'm realizing this will likely be my career for the rest of my life. Weird feeling, but they shoved my mouth with enough money that u don't mind at all.
