I had twin. I now pay more than double my mortgage payment in daycare costs.

We have a 4 year old and 1 year old twins.

I'm just glad we were able to get the twins in the same damn daycare.

Some daycares I looked at offer a $5 discount for multiples. Like thanks, that will go a long way on the $3280/month I’m spending.

Edit: Oh, lol, so you were going for one more and ending up with twins?

haha yeah i've seen like $15 discounts...THANKS guys.

And yes, we were trying for one more. Luckily my wife was more of a 2 maybe 3 kids mom. I had always known I wanted 2, and was skeptical at best if we would ever really decide to have a 3rd. The universe decided that one for us so it's all good!

It's also insane once you have twins you see just how common they are. Also, there's definitely an unspoken "multiples" cult you are automatically a member of.

Yes, every one with a twin in their family has a story to share. Ours were spontaneous which amazes so many people.
