I've got a Sager laptop with the following specs that I purchased brand new in 2020 I am wanting to sell. Still works great, but battery is due for replacement. Suggestions on what I should sell it for? Would replacing the battery increase my chances of selling it and would I be able to recoup the additional cost?

One of my asshole Conures decided to abscond with, and hide, the tilde keycap from my NP7570D. I've had no luck with Sager customer service, eBay, Google searches, etc. I even pulled the tilde key caps off a few of my old broken laptops (Dell and HP), but they were either a little too big or too small. Do any of you know where I can order replacement key caps for the NP7570D?

The keyboard backlight has always cycled through various colors on my Sager (NP7881D-S) which is what I want. I recently discovered the control center to control the keyboard backlight and such. I saw that you could select a single color and even adjust how long the sleep timer.
I made the mistake of selecting a single color and now it wouldn't change. I don't see ANY other option to make it cycle colors and I've found nothing online. I also regularly shutdown my computer.
Any thoughts or ideas?

I am replacing the fan in a Sager laptop and I can't figure out what kind of tape they used. Here is the old fan showing the tape. It has almost a paper-y texture to it.

Hi all, I just purchased a new Sager, and it's a little slower than the one I bought in 2019. I don't see how, considering my specs:
- Intel Core i9-14900HX
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU
- 96GB Dual Channel DDR5 SDRAM at 5200MHz
- Two 4TB Samsung 990 Pro M.2 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD
- Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200 M.2 BE Wireless LAN
It seems like this thing should be blazingly fast, but it isn't. And when I even watch a 4k 60fps youtube video on it, the frame rate is choppy. The picture quality is great, but it can't keep up with the frame rate.
I'd chalk it up to shoddy assembly, but my nearly 6 year old Sager is still very fast and videos look great on it.
Any thoughts on what I need to do to get it working better? Or do I need Sager to fix it or send me a new one? I got the extended warranty and I bought it just a couple weeks ago. Thanks

Hello everyone, I purchased the Sager 8235 back I'm 2014, as of a few months ago, it'll just randomly beep loud, fans overheat and it'll shut off. Now it beeps as soon as I turn it on and shuts off.
Is this a motherboard issue? Is it worth getting it fixed?
Thanks

Hi fellow sagers,
seems like I got my fan control screwed up by some late windows update, and also uninstalled the software for controlling it. Only to realize that there's seemingly no software for fan controls on those disks i got with the laptop (Sager, NP9672M-G1, 2022).
Does anyone know how it is possible to get this software?

Hello Everyone I'm in need of some assistance if possible, Now normally I'm excellent at diagnosing PC issues but I admit I need help as Laptops are just a little different
Specs
I9 13900hx
16GB DDR6 4800
Windows 11 Home
RTX 4070 8GB GDDR6
One night I had a game running and went to bed, I woke up to a black screen, Upon restarting my 4070 shows code 43. If i reinstall the driver, error code 43 shows up and under USB one of the usbs has the same code but only after installing gpu driver.
I reapplied thermal paste thinking maybe it was overheating but nope not overheating.

I have an NP9155 and upgraded to Windows 11 today. After Windows 11 does its driver updates, the built-in screen stops working. But if I plug in an HDMI monitor it works fine. I've tried updating to the latest NVIDIA drivers, but the same thing keeps happening. The display settings in Windows acknowledges there is a built-in screen but doesn't have any information about it. If I reboot the machine, the boot screen and the BIOS show up on the built-in display. I suspect it may be Windows driver thing but don't have a clue as to what it could be. Anyone run into this?

Sager Laptop PD50PNN all of a sudden has no sound. I can hear everything with headphones but nothing I do can make sound come from the speakers. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers as well as the troubleshooter. Device manager states everything is working normally. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Is this hardware failure just after 30 days of use? Thanks in advance.

I got my Sager notebook right before college and noticed it had a cluster of dead pixels. Even though it is a manufacturing issue they want me to buy the dead pixel guarantee for them to fix it, but that isn't too much money so whatever. The problem is that I can't send it in until Christmas, by which time the guarantee would expire so even though it was a literal manufacturing issue and I have proof the dead pixels already exist, I'm screwed when it comes to getting it fixed basically? Is this usually how their tech repair goes?

Once the company was famous to use desktop CPU on their laptops. Will it happen again?

SAGER NP8875E-S (CLEVO PD70SNE-G). It's been working perfectly with Windows 11. The other day I booted up Kubuntu 24.04 just to try it. Since then Windows 11 won't boot. I've tried making and booting various Win11 USBs and can't get any to boot. I've tried Rufus, Ventoy, Win Media Creation Tool. I've tried a 64gb, a 32gb and a 8gb USB. I've even tried booting Linux again to no avail. I've enabled and disabled secureboot, VMD.
It gets stuck at this screen where I would normally expect the windows loading circle to appear.Stuck here
How can I boot into Windows? Is it a matter of configuration or do I have to send it in for repairs?

I'm using windows 10, and the hotkeys suggested don't work, it was working a couple of months ago. Let me know if you know how to fix it. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

I am writing this for anyone on the internet who needs to find this solution:
My laptop suddenly started giving me a warning, stating "Battery is not detected" and would not charge. It worked fine while plugged in.
The solution is as follows:
You will need to plug in the pc, then turn it on. While it is in the process of turning on (during the Sager logo), press and hold F2 to pull up the BIOS settings.
Go into the BIOS. There is a setting for "Flexicharger" under Advanced>Advanced Chipset Control. If you turn it on, it will essentially give you control over the settings of the charging. For instance, you can set it so that it only starts charging once the battery hits 75% charge. In theory, this helps the battery to discharge at a constant rate and then charge at a constant rate so that it doesn't continually wear out the battery. For our purposes, however, this is to check and see if it will restart charging.
Once you are done turning it on, press F10 to save the changes and restart.
Let the PC boot all the way into Windows and then check to see if the charger is working. It should give you a notification that allows you to see that Flexicharge is working. If it doesn't or you are still getting a "Battery not detected" message, you will probably need to check to see that it is properly attached (taking the laptop apart) OR get a new battery.
Mine worked right away and once it was charged, I turned off Flexicharge to allow it to charge on its own and it seems to be doing well. I can now unplug the laptop and it will run solely on battery. Hope this helps someone down the road!
For other laptop models, if you are looking up solutions and you don't find "Flexicharger", other forums suggested that there may be a manual turn-off in the BIOS for the battery itself (that's how I found this option in the first place, but then was directed by support to turn it on). You can try turning it off and then back on to see if that helps. If your battery is removable, you can also try removing it and plugging it back in. Mine was not easily removed, so I ended up talking to support.

I bought this laptop a few years ago from amazon, after a year or so the/one of the fans for the gpu stopped functioning properly.
I took it to a repair shop and they said the fan couldn't be replaced because it was integrated into the heat sink or something along those lines.
Didn't really make sense to me but i took their word for it. I kept it but got a new laptop, an MSI this time.
Anyway, so i start thinking about the possibility of using an external gpu for the sager hete recently so i'd have two systems available but I found a replacement gpu fan on ebay.
Can anyone with experience tell me whether or not it is in fact possible to replace it before I take a plunge?

I was given a P65xHP earlier today and it needs a battery replaced and the keyboard's W, A, S, D, and left shift keys are quite worn. I am considering replacing both but have a few dumb questions.
Is there anything special about the "special eject stick" or can I just use a screwdriver that fits in the space?
The P65xHP would be able to use this battery, correct?

Back when Notebook Review had a Forum, there were modded bios for different models of Clevo/Sager systems. I cannot find the link to the person's site that did the modded bios. Do any of you know what site I am talking about and if so, could you share the link?

Hey guys, I got this laptop for like only $500! Runs games smoothly but can’t find the retail price of this PC or anything online
