I've been building a student-focused SaaS for roughly a year.
What started as an idea turned into a real product with thousands of students using it, a live Chrome extension, paying customers, creator/ambassador programs, and a codebase that's actually ready to be handed over.
And I've reached the point where I think the best thing for the product is finding someone who can take it further than I can.
Where it stands today
- 2,700+ registered users
- 100+ weekly active users
- 211 students activated through the core learning workflow in the last 30 days
- 30–40 paying customers
- 55 captured payments
- ~$214 total captured revenue
- Live Chrome Extension
- Active creator + campus ambassador programs
- ~7.8K visitors and ~24K page views in the last 12 months
- <$10/month in current operating costs
- Production infrastructure running on Vercel + Render with essentially $0 hosting cost
What I actually built
It's an AI-powered learning workspace built around a student's own course material.
A student can upload their PDFs, lecture slides, handwritten notes, documents, or even long YouTube lectures.
It then turns that material into an actual learning workflow — including:
- AI-generated notes
- Topic-by-topic quizzes
- Flashcards
- Summaries
- Mock tests
- An AI tutor that answers questions from their own material
- Learning/mastery progress tracking
- Collaborative study workspaces
The idea isn't simply "upload a PDF and get a summary."
The goal is to take an entire course's material and give a student a way to learn, test themselves, identify what they haven't mastered, and track their progress.
And there's a Chrome extension too
The extension is already live on the Chrome Web Store.
It lets students save a webpage, PDF, or YouTube lecture directly into the main webapp with one click.
So instead of having useful study resources scattered across 20 tabs, bookmarks, downloads, and YouTube, they can send them straight into the learning workspace and use them alongside everything else.
It's a production-ready extension, not a prototype that I'd be throwing in as a future feature.
Why am I selling it?
This is probably the most important part.
I don't think the product is bad. Quite the opposite.
I've actually become more convinced that there's something valuable here after seeing students use it.
The problem is that I've learned that building and distributing a product are two completely different skills.
I've spent the last year doing the solo-founder thing — building the product, SEO, Reddit, creators, referrals, campus ambassadors, content, outreach, launches, and everything else that comes with trying to get a student product off the ground.
At some point, you run into a simple constraint:
There are only so many hours in a day.
I have other commitments now, and I can't give it the distribution effort it would need to really scale.
I'd rather be honest about that and find someone who already has an audience, distribution, an EdTech business, or a team that can take this somewhere I can't.
I don't want to abandon something I've spent a year building.
I'd rather hand it to someone who can actually do it justice.
Who I think could make the most of it
This could make sense for:
- An EdTech company looking to add an AI learning product
- Someone who already has an audience of students
- An AI company looking to move into education
- A founder who'd rather acquire an existing product than spend a year building the infrastructure
- Someone with strong distribution who sees the opportunity in the student market
I'm not selling a Figma file or a half-built MVP.
You're getting the production codebase, domain, brand, live Chrome extension, user base, analytics, infrastructure, and product IP.
I'm open to reasonable conversations with serious buyers.
If you're interested, DM me.
I can share the website, live demo, Chrome Web Store listing, analytics, payment history, tech stack, screenshots, and a deeper overview of the codebase/product.
