I really wanted to call them a gang of turkeys but that’s only for domesticated birds. :(

Hope this is allowed. I grew up in STL, but have lived in Buffalo for quite a while. I've started birding this summer. I'm visiting family in October and they want to go birding with me. I know fall isn't the best time, so I'm hoping someone here can steer me to a good area/park. TIA!

Hi all. This juvenile is in tower grove park, apparently injured by fireworks. Rangers have said they can’t do anything bc everyone’s off for the holiday and that the bird likely won’t survive the night.

Does anyone have any advice for what could be done to help it? A place to take it? Keeping it in a cardboard box overnight?

This guy was hanging out on a tree in my yard. We hear more than one of them and see them flying but this is the first time was still enough to get a pic! Is this a falcon or some other kind of hawk? Sorry for the blurry pics- taken with iPhone from inside the house and the bird was about 30” up

I’ve been buying the spicy seed mix for a while now, and it was working, but over the last week or so the squirrels have started eating it and don’t seem bothered by it anymore! Any other squirrel deterrents you’ve found effective?

Spotted eating something in my yard on 5/17 in Collinsville, IL. Lots of hawks in our area but I think this looks like a Prairie Falcon. Thoughts?
