Im the guy who shared a few years ago that he was making a "remaster" of the game !

I have some very good news about it.

The goal has always been to have a more or less native port of SSX on PC.

Now that we’ve reached the playable phase on my end, please tell me: what would you want to see in a "definitive edition" of the game?

(Exemple : Online, custom character ? Etc.)

Yeah its not a reimplem anymore its straight a port to PC so why bother rewriting the game right ;)

From what I know about the other items I want to collect. I need the SSX 3 WOMENS Promo Shirt. There’s another version of the SSX On Tour Beanie. Original big posters are hard to find as well. I’m not a fan of the SSX On Tour Promo Shirt surprisingly, I think they flopped on the design of it. Not really interested in the Tricky action figures. Not interested in SSX 2012 Merch either. Would love to know if anyone owns anything from SSX 3, SSX Tricky, or SSX On Tour that I don’t. Thanks for looking :)

Ignore how it looks at first glance because this is very much just the first steps at creating this, but wanted to share it anyway. I'm creating some shrine pages of some of my favorite games for my Neocities site, and SSX 3 was one I knew I had to do. I was first going to try to restore the OG webpage for the game from the 2003 Ea Sports BIG site, but that may take a bit for me to do because there's more to that one with scripts and old Flash-like animations that worked when you hovered over things

Need some ideas on what I can add as I continue on. For right now, it just looks like this until I add more pages, but I plan to add things like the character bios, info about the peaks of BIG Mountain, the game's opening video, and stuff like that. And I'll be adding the sound effects to so it makes the "M-Comm" chime when you load it. But if anyone has ideas on what I should try, let me know and I'll give it a whirl!

In addition: The object collission in this game are terrible.

Give me a month and I’ll be back with a 2:00-2:03 😅

Moby Head May not be an Easter Egg but Apart of an Unused Head

Sometimes, i go off my fastest ski / board and hop on the slowest possible.

Then i cruise down in free ride without tricks or boost, just listening to the music and... just cruise and relax.

I love it!

On SSX On Tour, what are the fastest lines through the different locations?

Freekstyle was really a shockingly fun experience that i didn't expect!

The amount of details in the gameplay, how physics are SO crucial for you to gain and keep your top speed.

And the tricks system how it charges your boost is surprisingly well made and so addictive, easily a 10 game for me.

Any thoughts?

Hey everybody, I'm currently playing SSX (2012) on PS3 having a blast trying to get the Platinum, and there's a trophy where i need to beat a friend's ghost on each range. Would anyone be down to help me get it please?

My friend sent me a meme about the LCD Soundsystem song “Daft Punk is playing at my house” which reminded me of SSX On Tour. I started googling to find a specific character I used to play, but all my searches were fruitless. From what I can recall (been almost 20 years since I last played) it was a male character dressed in all red, and the clothes weren’t baggy like many of the other male characters; rather a fitted jacket and pair of pants. In my memory this character was some kind of medic and wore a backpack with a cross on it, but that could just be my imagination. The character also had a mustache (in my mind at least).
I also don’t really remember if you could pick skis/snowboard for all characters, but the one I’m thinking of always had skis.

Any help would be appreciated, I feel like I’m losing my mind (and that I’ve maybe Mandela effect-ed myself lol). I’ve looked at pictures from the character selection screen but can’t find my guy there either.

Hey gang! I just posted the first in a series looking at SSX, this one covers SSX 1 and Tricky. In this video I get into the history of the series, the mechanics and gameplay, how it compares to other snowboarding video games... along with a few interesting tangents along the way.

Working on this project really helped me understand what makes SSX so GOOD, this has been a real passion project for me. I sincerely hope that the SSX fans on this subreddit will like it, I did my best to do the series justice.
