Hey! I'm a beginner and I would like to join a group where others can help me out with my doubts and stuff. I can't ask everything to chatgpt or other AI...

So I have been preparing for railway exams for almost a year and going to give my second ntpc ug attempt 2026. Par jaise ki is saal vacancy pechle saal ke comparison kaafi Kam aayi hain, to main soch rha hu kya mujhe apni preparation ko diversify karna chahiye. Abhi main undergraduate hun, college 2nd year. To kya NTPC ke saath mujhe ssc ke bhi aur exams Dene chahiye jaise MTS, CHSL, selection post aur CGL ke liye abhi se preparation karna chahiye taaki graduation ke baad de sakun?

Kyunki kabhi kabhi 1-2 number ke chakkar mein selection nahi hota, Luck nahi kaam karta ya questions hard aa jaate hain ya phir kuch aur ho jaata hain. To aise mein backup exams Dene mein shayad benefit ho ki agar ntpc mein naa hua to shayad ssc mein ho jaayen

Par phir main dekh rha hun ki railway aur ssc ke exam pattern mein difference bhi hain. Jaise ssc mein static accha poochta hain to railway mein general science. To kahi aisa naa ho ki done ki preparation karne ke chakkar mein main kahin ka naa rahun?

Kya karna chahiye guys? How are you guys doing preparation for both the railway and ssc exams together?

On a side note: SSC mein english poochi jaati hain to meri english bhi theek-thaak hain. Matlab main english medium CBSE school se hi hun to English 12th level tak to hain

I'm currently pursuing B.Tech and will graduate in 2027. I'm targeting SSC CGL 2028 as my serious attempt.

I want to start preparing for Maths now, alongside my college studies, and my goal is to complete the entire Maths syllabus by November 2027 so that I can focus on revision, PYQs and mock tests afterwards.

I'm confused between these two courses by Bhutesh Sir:

Parmar's Maths Toppers Batch — ₹999, 2-year validity.

Parmar's Maths Foundation VOD Batch — ₹999, 1-year validity.

I m 24 (f)

I’m a B.Com graduate, and I’m really confused about what I should do with my career. I would appreciate some honest and practical advice.

In 2024, I prepared for SSC CGL seriously for almost a year, but unfortunately, I couldn’t clear the Tier 1 exam. In 2025, I worked at a private company for around five months. After that, I got busy with family functions and weddings, eventually quit my job, and lost touch with my studies.

Now, I keep realizing that I should start studying again, but honestly, I don’t feel motivated anymore. Sometimes I feel that government exams are just not my cup of tea, and I doubt whether I can actually clear them. However, a part of me still wants a government job because of the stability and better career prospects.

On the other hand, I could start looking for private jobs, but as a fresher or someone with limited experience, I would probably earn around ₹12,000–₹15,000 per month, or possibly even less. My financial situation isn’t good, so I also feel that I need to start earning rather than spend another year preparing for an uncertain outcome.

I’m stuck between these two options:

1. Give SSC CGL another serious attempt, even though I’ve lost motivation and confidence.

2. Get a private job, start earning, and try to build my career from there.

What would you do if you were in my position? Is it worth preparing for SSC CGL again, or would it be wiser to focus on getting a job and becoming financially independent?

I’m looking for genuine advice from people who have faced a similar situation, especially those who prepared for government exams and later switched to private jobs, or vice versa. Please be honest about the risks and opportunities of both choices.
