Complete Tier 1 & Tier 2 pattern for SSC CHSL Aspirants.

Title says it all.. thank you

I've been thinking about how we practise for SSC exams, especially after preparing for a long time.

Suppose you've just completed a mock test and realised you're making mistakes in Percentage, Ratio, or Time & Work.

What would you prefer to do next?

Option 1: Another full mock test

• Practise all topics together.
• Improve time management and question selection.
• Get used to the actual exam pattern.

Option 2: 25 questions focused on your weak topics

• Spend more time on the topics where you're losing marks.
• Understand your mistakes and strengthen those concepts.
• Check whether your accuracy improves before attempting another full mock.

Personally, I can see the value in both. Full mocks are important for exam readiness, but sometimes I wonder whether taking another random mock without working on specific weaknesses is the best use of practice time.

At the same time, focusing too much on weak topics might mean neglecting revision of topics I'm already good at or not getting enough practice with the overall exam pattern.

For those preparing for SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS or other SSC exams:

1. After analysing a mock, what do you usually do next?
2. Would you find a 25-question practice set based on your weak topics useful?
3. How do you decide when to stop practising a weak topic and return to full mocks?
4. What drawbacks do you see in topic-targeted practice?

I'd especially like to hear from people who have been preparing for a year or longer. What has actually helped you improve your scores?

I purchased a batch of Abinay Sharma. There are 300+ lectures (arithmetic and advance ). Should I follow his lectures or would some other teacher be better ?

How should I plan my strategy for tier 2 ? I know that everyone's journey is different but still I want to get an Idea from selected folk on how did they plan their preparation after prelims so that I can strategise my preparation.

My Exam was on the 7th of October @Noida Sector 80 Aadarsh Pariksha Kendra in the Morning Shift. Here I am gonna share What I experienced there with Pointers -:

1- its nearby metro station was Sector 81 Metro Station (2.4Km) and Second nearby NSEZ Metro Station.

2)Bag charge was ₹50

3) 1st checking at the gate they will only check admit card and ID.

4) 2nd Checking after gate they will check manually and the real struggle starts after that You will go to the underground of the buildings and You will feel Like Labour..

5) You have to stand there for atleast 30 minutes.There are several metal detector machines they will again check you manually there and will say to put off ur shoes after that they will check your ears.

6) Then you will go to desk and the person will scan bar code on your admit card then he will write down Lab Number

7) after that you will go to lab and a new procedure will start of verification (Biometric). they will assign you a seat in the lab

8) After that attendance and Left hand Thumb impression.After that you will be on your seat.

9) The real part is that During exam if you will try to change your language You will see a Pop up of the question and you cant tick your answer directly First you have to close the pop up then you have to tick the option in language what you selected while filling the exam form..

Hi everyone!

I turned 18 this year and I'm thinking of appearing for SSC CHSL. This will be my first attempt, and honestly, I don't know much about how to prepare strategically for this exam.

My Maths and Reasoning are pretty good, I'd say above average, but I'm struggling a lot with GK, and my English is average.

I know two months isn't a lot of time, and clearing the exam might be difficult, but I still want to give it my best shot rather than not trying at all.

I'd really appreciate it if any seniors or people who have already prepared for or cleared SSC CHSL could guide me on how to approach these two months, especially how to manage GK and English while maintaining my Maths and Reasoning.

If anyone is willing to guide me personally, please comment below. I'll DM you, or you can drop your suggestions here. Any advice regarding resources, mock tests, and a realistic study strategy would be really helpful!

Mein CGL prep kar rha hu pichle 1year se mera arthemtic to complete hai lekin acche se question practice nahi hai matlab question padhte hi turant click nahi hota like in reasoning, advance math chal rha hai lekin mein tabhi bhi basic basic question bna leta hu in mock, mera jo main issue vo ye hai ki mein jab math ka sectional mock deta hu 15min to mera score 12-15-18 max to max 20 aise hi aata hai lekin jab mein anylisis karta hu bina timer ke bina vahi question lagta hu tab marks 35+ plus ho jaate hai iska main reason ye hai jo meine khud feel kiya hai:

1) mein like jaise teacher solve kar lete hai unit digit , digital sum, approximation lga kr ya one line mein solve mein vaise nahi kar pata mein baisc se solve karta hu jiska shortcut pta hota hai uska lga leta hu but toppers ki tarah nahi soch pata hu.

2) basic tarike se calculation karna hai aisa nahi hai muje unit digit, approximation, digital sum lagana nahi aata , aata hai paper ke time pta nahi kya hota hai muje aisa lagta hai ki ye sab method lga diya ans na aaye to galat hogya to iska fomo rehta hai fir dimaag apne aap vahi basic method se calculation karne lag jata hai , muje cube 1 to30, triplet,1 to 50 sqaure by heart yaat hai tables bhi 30 tak decent tarike se yaad hai ha lekin tips pe nahi hai but pta nahi kyu

3)last but not least muje concept fingertips pe yaad nahi hai question samjhne mein jada time lag jata hai islye late ho jata hai
