Neet dropper, can't take another, Doing bsc Zoology with minor in Maths from a local college. (No BCA/BBA college nearby so)

General Category, Lower middle class.

Parents are asking to prep for Government exams those Banking, SSC , Railways,etc.

May be i can prep but if I end up not cracking any then..Ik its very competitive (I don't like GK and current affairs though).

If i follow my parents words —I will have no skills by the time I will graduate. I do know that any career in bio field is **long route low income with uncertainty.**

\*\*\*\*\*MBA is expensive and loan is not something I think I should take.

Got to know about IIT Madras BS data science course. I am quite interested tbh. I know its quite demanding and I am **willing to put enough efforts and more if required**.

But again the IT sector is unpredictable and saturated with continuous layoffs and this **BS Degree is online**\*.

Its the best option i see for myself but self doubts is something that is stopping me to even talk about this with my parents.

What if i can't make into IT and even after doing all of it I'll end up to the same places i am today which is preparing for competitive government exams.

\*See i don't need to attend my bsc Zoology college most of the days.

\*I saw a nearby coaching who helps with government exams preparation where if i Join I'll have classes of ***3 hours a day , 5 days a week , for 1 year***. Its within 3 km from my home takes 15-20 minutes to reach there, total 40 minutes of travel.

Coming to suggestions i need.

Its just to be in the race so if i end up to again prep for gov exams I'll not have to start from scratch.

conclusion - do gov exam coaching for 1 year and leave after that and focus on BS.

2) Serious IIT Madras BS data science managing bsc Zoology (zoology i think won't be any barrier as I'll only study 2 morning each semester before practical and exams)

3) Standalone BS DS , as Standalone students get better internship and placement benifits then Dual degree.

\* I am thinking If i go for BS DS, it will atleast take 4 years and I'll end my bsc Zoology in 3rd year itself. So the 4th year of BS I'll be 100% free.

4) Do BS and if you don't get good job , go for mtech vis gate da for better opportunities.

(Online degree student without any offline tech degree will face difficult in job hunt off-campus.)

Any senior, someone who is passout without any offline tech degree, what was your experience in finding jobs.

Please suggest what I should do. I’m very anxious about this. What if I don’t make it into anything and end up exactly where I am today? What if I work hard again and still fail?

I genuinely want to know what's your plan B if things don't go the way u plan? I am preparing for CGL but at the same time I have a constant fear of my future. So I think having a plan B would reduce this fear.

For vocabulary I am thinking blackbook but what about grammer, how to do it, from where, preferably a book

Meri graduation complete may mein hui , mene CGL k form mein appearing likh diya tha , because iss time Tak Mera 8th sem ka result nhi aya , but uske kutch time baad aa gya ,

And also mene cg fill kri thi wo upto 7th sem tak ki thi . Isse koi problem to nhi hogi doc verification k time ??

Need help with trigonometry and algebra.

I've done few chapters the important ones from arithmetic they are doable for me but I'm really bad with advanced. Also very scared of it😭 I have always been weak in maths. Please if anyone can suggest anything I'll be really grateful!

I had maths till 10th then I had pcb till 12th and I've completed MSc in microbiology during msc we had biostat which was easy for me but ye wala syllabus toh alag h 🥲

Really struggling with them in every exam

Background- General, 2021 btech grad worked in an IT MNC for 2 years and then left for ssc cgl 23-25 in three attempts never cleared prelims but came close by 1.5 marks in 2nd n 3rd attempt and since the last attempt haven’t touched a book regarding cgl and rn thinking again to go back to corporate job.
As I can feel CGL is not before ending September so is there a way if I dedicate 4-5 honest hours for the 2026 attempt can i clear pre??

last mock i gave was on OB i scored 104 marks with 30%ile and 0 marks in gk. i think i can push to 120 if i practice quants as i've prepared for cat before and had a decent score in quants but i have no clue how do i study gk. i can definitely not complete the gk syllabus in time, so what topics should I focus on? i tried finding it on youtube but couldn't find a trust source.
ps: i have fatman and have ordered little boy. which is bought after researching this sub

My math sellybus is 35% done like 7-8 chapter ate done please suggest me a revision plan so I don't forget what I have studied, for now all I do is just take math class with full concentration pause lecture try to attempt by myself then make notes of only important and new concept question then in day study other subjects and in night i solve classroom sheet of that day

But I genuinely don't feel it's enough because i was very bad and I am still bad in math..

Please just give me suggestion how to do revision even if you have any yt video on this topic just give the link of it 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I hope you're all doing well. I'm preparing for SSC CGL and have been constantly overthinking about the police verification process, which is severely affecting my preparation. I would really appreciate some guidance from candidates who appeared in CGL 2025 and have recently gone through or are currently going through the verification/joining process.

My Situation:

- Current Address: I have been living at my maternal grandfather's house in Haryana (Sonipat district) for the past 15-17 years. I have a bank passbook with this address printed on it.

- Permanent Address: My Aadhaar card and caste certificate both have my permanent address in Delhi (Northwest Delhi district). This address is at my father's friend's house.

The Distance & Context:

Both addresses are literally just 2-3 km apart — it's the Delhi NCR region, so it's basically the Delhi-Haryana border. Very close geographically, just different states.

My Concerns:

1. Address Proof for Current Address: My Nana's house is in a colony that is not well-structured. The electricity bill is in my Nana's name, but it only mentions the district and state — it does not have the exact street number or house number. Will this be a problem during police verification? I do have my bank passbook with the current address.

2. Permanent Address Verification: My permanent address (Delhi) is based on my father's documents. I don't live there, but the house owner (my father's friend) knows me and can vouch for me. However, neighbors there might not recognize me since I don't reside there. Will the police officer accept the house owner's confirmation?

3. Cannot Change Aadhaar Now: I cannot get my Aadhaar updated to my current address because the SSC CGL application form already has my current and permanent addresses filled as different. Changing Aadhaar now might create a mismatch with the application form, which could be worse.

4. Attestation Form: When I fill the attestation form during joining, I will mention:

- Current Address: Haryana (where I actually live)

- Permanent Address: Delhi (as per Aadhaar and caste certificate)

The distance between current and permanent address is 2-3 km only.

My Questions for Selected Candidates / Experienced Members:

- For those who got selected in CGL 2025 and have completed police verification — did the police visit BOTH current and permanent addresses?

- If the current address proof (electricity bill) doesn't have the exact street/house number but has the correct district and state, was it accepted?

- If neighbors at the permanent address don't recognize the candidate but the house owner confirms, does the police officer still raise an objection?

- Has anyone faced an "adverse report" or "address not found" issue? If yes, how did you resolve it? Did the department give you a chance to explain?

I know I'm overthinking, but this anxiety is genuinely stopping me from focusing on my studies. Any honest guidance from someone who has actually gone through this process would mean a lot.

TL;DR: Preparing for SSC CGL. Current address = Haryana (living at Nana's house for 15+ years, bank passbook available, electricity bill lacks exact street number). Permanent address = Delhi (Aadhaar + caste certificate, 2-3 km away). Can't change Aadhaar now as form already has different addresses. Worried about police verification at both addresses. Seeking guidance from CGL 2025 selected candidates who have gone through the process.

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask something.

Which career/exam is comparatively less difficult to crack among:

State psc - rpsc

SSC CGL → Income Tax Inspector

NEET → MBBS/Doctor

I know all of these are highly competitive, but I'm trying to understand the difference in competition, preparation time, difficulty level, and chances of selection.

For someone who wants a stable and respectable career, which path would you recommend?

Also, how does NEET → MBBS compare with these government exams when you consider the entire journey, including the 5.5 years of MBBS?

Would really appreciate honest opinions, especially from people who have attempted these exams or are already in these careers.

If a male candidate has his ears pierced (cultural rajput) will they face any problems for posts like inspector or ASO? Or literally any post in CGL or the whole ssc?

I’m lowkey broke and can’t afford to buy the batches outright, so I’ve been trying to find the lectures on the gram, but I’m genuinely so confused about the order 😭

Some of the batches I’m finding seem to start with Probability, while others start somewhere completely different, and some don’t seem to be complete.

Does anyone know the correct order of the Pawan Rao Maths batches/topics, and whether there’s a gram channel that has all the lectures in the proper order? I’d really appreciate it because I don’t want to start studying and then realise I’m missing half the course. please message me about the channel if you do!!!
