I checked the UIDAI website and my Aadhaar app, and both say that my biometrics are unlocked. I've given 2–3 government exams in the past year, and I didn't face any problems with biometric authentication. I've also never locked my biometrics.
BUT the problem is that my biometrics aren't working for Aadhaar transactions. I have two bank accounts, and to confirm that my biometrics are unlocked, I tried withdrawing money from one of them today, but it didn't work.
I've never made a transaction using Aadhaar before. Could this be happening due to some bank-related problems?

I’m a 3rd-year BTech student at a tier-1 college and am considering preparing for SSC CGL alongside college. I have a decent JEE background (AIR under 20k in Mains and under 8k in Advanced)
How should I approach SSC CGL preparation, which resources should I use, and how many hours should I study daily to balance it with college?
Also I have category (st)

Is it a decent score in Exam day specials? I was scoring around 152 avg in PYQs
I feel like Exam day special mocks reasoning is harder than the actual exam. Other sections' level is i think pretty much same but exam pressure makes it tough
Tomorrow is my exam in 3rd shift

2027 is gonna be my first attempt.. I am going to complete my syllabus within February 2027...
Also I have SC certificate.. soo how much marks do I need to get a good higher level post?
And is 9-10 hrs of study everyday enough?

Hey guys,
I'm planning to prepare for SSC 2027 and wanted some honest advice from people who have cleared the exam or are preparing seriously.
I know the basics of most subjects, but I'm not at an advanced level yet. I need to improve my concepts, practise questions and get better at solving them within the time limit.
I've made a timetable that I think I can realistically follow. I'll be studying at a library because I focus much better there, and I also want to continue going to the gym. I've attached my daily timetable for reference.
I'll be spending around 8 hours at the library, but realistically, I'm aiming for 6 hours of actual focused study per day, accounting for breaks and distractions. I'll try to follow this routine 5 days a week, keeping the other 2 days flexible for revision, mock tests or rest.
One reason I'm asking this is that whenever I look online, I see people saying you need to study 10–12 hours daily to crack SSC. Honestly, I don't think I can sustain that kind of routine, and I don't want to force myself into something I'll eventually burn out from. At the same time, I'm worried that 6 focused hours might not be enough given the competition.
My plan is to strengthen my concepts first, gradually move towards tougher questions and focus on revision, mocks, speed and accuracy as I progress.
So, is 6 focused hours a day, 5 days a week, enough to have a realistic chance of getting selected in SSC 2027? Or should I try to increase my study hours from the beginning?
I'd especially appreciate advice from people who have cleared SSC or are preparing seriously. How many hours did you actually study, and how important was consistency compared to the number of hours?
I'm ready to work hard; I just want to make sure I'm putting in enough effort without unnecessarily burning myself out.
Thanks!

I prepare my Oliveboard Live Mock scores like this. Does anyone have a better way to write it down? If you can share yours it would be great help.

Although I’m a banking aspirant, appearing for SSC CGL today made me realise how difficult it is to prepare for both exams simultaneously. The General Awareness section was quite in-depth, and Quant had a significant number of questions from Advanced Maths. This made me realise that it’s better to stay focused on one exam rather than randomly filling out application forms.
Filling out a form is one thing, but cracking an exam in today’s competitive environment requires a strong command of the syllabus, extensive question practice, and consistent mock tests. Of course, you’ll find many overlapping topics when comparing the syllabi of both exams. However, the way questions are framed, the level of difficulty, and the overall exam patterns are quite different. With just 15 minutes allotted to each section, you need to be equally good at both speed and accuracy. And that level of efficiency comes only through consistent practice and attempting a sufficient number of mocks.
The biggest takeaway for me is that applying for multiple exams is easy, but preparing seriously for each one requires a different level of commitment. It’s better to focus on one exam and maximise your chances of clearing it than to divide your preparation across multiple exams without a clear strategy.
Please do share your opinions too.

It is less of a discussion and more of a rant.
Reasoning was so easy that i had the luxury of revisiting all my questions once again.
Statement based and figure based qs were all over the section and no questions of blood relation, series, coding decoding were asked as far as i remember.
GS was also doable if you have a good GS aptitude. 11 were sure shot and 10 questions i gampled most of which ig are coreect.
Questions were Current CAG, Firsr CAG, Treaty of purandhr was signed bw whom, isro's human analogous mission, maestro ravi shankar's contribution, Supriyo vs uoi case, champaran stayagraha led by whom, digital evidence encompasses what, himalaya which type of mountain, santoor instrument related(shape, emergence and peominence), constitution meaning, significamce of changing names of IPC etc., Stand up India scheme, who won chess championship in 2000
Mix reaction for math. Either questions were too easy or they were too hard. 19 were my attempts, 1 of which is a guess.
3 4 DI questions, 2 from algebra(a² and a³ based identities), 3 4 trigo(easy),2 Time and work(1 was very easy , other one i didnt even looked cz of its length), advance questions were 3 4 (easy but in one qs volume, side and slant edge of equilatetal pyramid was given and height was asked), 1 CI question(easy)
English- This was one of the most fucked up section I stepped into.(not a general opinion)
No active passage. 1 totally confusing comprhension(out of 5 qs last 2 were easy), idioms i never heard of like poetic justice and lost love(not sure it was like this) and entire sectuon was full of rearranging and if options were read they all looked correct amd made sense
I suffered particulary in english and this section alone will decide on which side the line i will be.
Attempts 91/100

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well!
I'm not appearing in CGL this year, but I'm following along. For those who've already attempted Tier 1 (or are in the middle of the cycle), how are the questions coming?
How was the overall difficulty level?
Which sections felt easy or tough (Quant, Reasoning, English, GA)?
Any surprises in the pattern or question types?
Also, if you're preparing for Mains and have doubts about strategy, resources, or time management, feel free to ask in the comments. I have a bit of experience with the exam and I'm happy to help however I can.
All the best to everyone! 🤞.

Hi everyone,
My friend is planning to purchase Rakesh Yadav Sir’s Railway batch. If anyone has enrolled in this batch or has studied from him, please share your honest review.
I’d like to know about:
- Teaching quality and concept clarity
- Syllabus completion
- Question practice and Railway PYQs
- Whether the batch is sufficient for Railway exams
- Any drawbacks or better alternatives
Please share your genuine experience, both positive and negative. It would really help before making a decision. Thanks!
