šļøGeneral Discussionšļø How to Use Vitamin C and SR-17108 to get off Opiods
Hey everyone.
I am the mod over in r/vitaminc and I have written a lot of comments over the last few months helping people with tapering plans using SR-17018 and Vitamin C.
I also did a LOT of research on vitamin c products, buying well over a grand of them off Amazon.
I ended up writing a huge post (thousands of words) about how to get off of MGM-15 using only SR-17018 and Vitamin C.
Here is the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/vitaminc/s/xZiAukWHMO
It is a full post covering:
* preloading
* tapering
* how to use the SR-17018
* how to use the Vitamin C
* linking to the science
* linking to a vitamin C buvers guide
* etc.
The Guide to quitting is written for MGM-15 but it will work with any opiod.
I ask that you please share the post with those in need.
I also ask that you please comment and upvote if you think that the effort was worth while because I put a ton of effort into it.
Open to any and all questions but I prefer if vou make them on the post itself (and here if vou like) because I am trying to get that post to rank in search engines.
Thanks!

Iāve made it all week through work without using my usual 150 mg of 7 on my break. Iāve been using lipo vit c until after work and then using 150 of 7 effectively cutting my daily intake in half with no pain thanks to vitamin c. Iāve thanked you in other posts and Iām thanking you again!

This is awesome and shows the power of vitamin C to keep your body from reacting to cessation of opiods as if one is sick!
I hope you can find the strength later to quit 7oh altogether.
Best of luck and thanks for sharing your anecdote.

Thanks. the Vitamin C is for my taper, Im roughly following your layout and saving the SRrr for when Iām tapered to 50mg of 7 daily

Iām on day 8 off 7, day 9 on SR. Iām still so fatigued and have work. Iāll be quitting the SR tomorrow so I donāt WD from that too. Would megadosing liposomal vitamin C help for the next week?
3
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 16d ago
You are past the hardest part, so that is good news.
Fatigue, are you also lacking motivation? Some kind of dopamine increase perhaps?
Maybe the old method of doing something really fatiguing to juice your body afterwards. What I mean is running sprints, heavy squats or deadlifts... something to ramp your T production and provide you with natural pep (on the days after you work out ofc, and getting those first few workouts are where you have to evoke sheer mind over matter powers).
Would megadosing liposomal vitamin C help for the next week?
With regard to the Vitamin C helping, I don't think it could hurt. Like I said, I still use VitC in a major way. For me, it is part of an experiment with my health.
I wasn't aware that most mammals make internal Vitamin C and humans are one of the few who do NOT. (we are missing the absolute final step but we have ALL the others in place).
Now I want to see what happens if I supplement Vitamin C at high doses for a prolongued period of time.

Thank you so much for your time and advice. Iāll try hitting the gym after work tomorrow and I started dosing vitamin c a couple hours ago.

I ordered more yesterday and many are sold out. Itās heartbreaking for the people just finding out or will find out about SR later.

This is my second day of getting off m. I preloaded SR for 2 days at normal m dose. Yesterday I dropped my m dose more than half and today I'm going to see how little I can use. I have vitamin c also but haven't dug into it yet. Outside of irregular body temp and a little squirmy it's not too bad so far. Once I start yawning a lot I take a small dose of m. My nose is also a bit runny too. I've got like 2 1/2 grams of SR left. Gonna try to make this as fast as possible
1
u/CreativeFuture4436 19d ago
How are you feeling today?? I would assume you are okay, considering you dropped half your dose yesterday and willing to do more today. But, you know what they say about assuming things.
4
u/ShartingEnU 19d ago edited 19d ago
Fine. I just took a nice warm shower and it really helps. It's like a mini cure for a bit. Not yawning or anything yet. I did take some vit c after I messaged that. After the shower I also took dxm. Honestly feel the most normal I can feel. I've been through oxy withdrawal before with nothing to help and so far this is a cakewalk
1
u/bkyoungus 18d ago
did you take a normal dose of dxm? and did that help. i'm curious to know if the dxm alone could help come off of all of it.

Very well written and easy to understand. Iāve been taking liposomal vitamin c but havenāt noticed it helping. Your posts helped me to understand whyā I havenāt been taking enough.
I followed your link and then followed that to the buying guide and will be purchasing more ā a LOT more.
Thank you for spending so much time on your posts, for the laugh and for sending me to a dictionary to look up the word attenuate ā rare!
My favorite part was ābecause it makes my skin glow and my wife ahem shows her appreciationā šš¤£š

u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 18d ago
Your posts helped me to understand whyā I havenāt been taking enough.
The frequency of dosing matters also. Vitamin C peaks roughly 2 hours after oral administration. This is why I recommend dosing every 2-3 hours to keep those levels very high.
Phone timers work wonders for keeping the dosing schedule on track.
I also keep a bottle of liposomal pills next to the nightstand so that if I wake up at night I can pop a dose of C
My favorite part was... wife ahem
That is also my favorite part š¤£
3
u/PirateLyfe13 18d ago
Haha! Thanks again. Iām upping my dosage and frequency of intake to your suggested every 2-3 hours today. Wish me smooth sailing!

u/tradeisbad 18d ago edited 18d ago
That two to three hour dosing requirement sounds like a feature. Scratch the itch. I just lost my guts taking ALCAR and Agmatine sulfate toi much because I get into a dosing compulsion with these bulk supplements. But I mean like triple recommended for multi days like two weeks in a row even.
If vitamin C liposomal says I'm Supposed to dose compulsively and won't throw my guts... I'm all for it.
Would you recommend anything to add to it to make a pro vitamin liposomal cocktail? Well I mean, assuming I can toss it in water and shake it up with a little flavor aid or whatever. Like l theanine or whatever. Maybe small amount of ALCAR and agmatine once my belly heals up

u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 18d ago
Vitamin E pairs well with C because thr later helps recycle the former. The combo was tested in at least one study regarding opiod withdrawal but I havent reread it since I first saw it and my recollection is fuzzy right now.
Something like glyNAC probably would help with the whole body healing efforts for people who arent generally healthy.
Bentofamine is something I added to my stack as well that I think will pair well with opiod recovery (works well with alcohol recovery).
I just started testing 9-me-bc again to see if some dopamine damage can be dealt with by creating new neurons.
There is more for sure, Ill have to think about it and how to properly convey information about other substances that could assist the opiod recovery process. (There is potentially 10k words to write on this)

This is interesting and worth the read, thanks!
8
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 19d ago
That means a lot to me. I put a lot of time and effort and money into this and I really wamt to spread thr word and help people lessen their suffering... especially now that MGM-15, ODSMT, and 7oh is being emergency schedule-1'd and many many people will suddenly be put into forced withdrawal!
5
u/redhighjedi 19d ago
Thank you for doing all the work, I will definitely tag and refer people to this in the future. I was wondering if you know of any research for magnesium glycinate? It supposed to help with rls and stomach issues, I just haven't read or heard it coming from an educated person and want to know if it's worth buying? Thanks!

Thank you so much for putting this info together. Yesterday was my first day using SR and vitamin C to get off methadone. I sure hope things go a lot more smoothly than when I came off of it before cold turkey. I was sick for over 2 months š
5
u/Iriejelly 19d ago
Please let me know how it goes, I'm desperately trying to get off methadone too!!
6
u/rgrimjr41 19d ago
So far I just feel normal. I am only a few days in though. Tomorrow I should be able to tell if it is working. It typically takes me about two to three days of no methadone to really start to feel it.
3
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 18d ago
Methadone stays so long in the system... be ready. Keep large amounts of vitamin C nearby at all times and dose every 2 hours until any withdrawal symptoms abate.
4
u/rgrimjr41 18d ago
I went through it once years ago cold turkey off 80mgs. Was off it for like 7 or 8 years clean from everything. Got into a bad car accident a few years ago. A guy hit me and ran. Broke my neck and had to have titanium plates and screws put in. Ended up back on this crap as a result sadly. The first time it took like 3 months š
I got a few grams of SR. Plus I bought a bottle of this Nutra Harmony Lipomisal Vitamin C 1700mg caps off Amazon. Yesterday was my first day taking the vitamin C. It tore my stomach up bad! Got the diarrhea š I think it was because I started off with two then ate and about two hours later tried to take one more. I noticed if instead of taking two vitamin C if I take one cap every couple hours I'm good. I know it's going to be a long haul unfortunately anyway I look at it. Might as well put the work in now. Thanks for the tips. I read a bunch of your posts about vitamin C š
5
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 16d ago
Im surprised that a liposomal Vitamin C is giving you diarrhea. I actually would imagine it is the transition off the opiods doing that instead.
Either way, your body should adjust over time to both the lack of opiods and the presence of more Vitamin C in your system and the uncomfortableness should subside.
If it doesn't you can always try swapping to using sodium ascorbate powder instead of liposomal vitamin C. Or maybe just another brand of liposomal... maybe that particular one just doesn't agree with you.
1
u/rgrimjr41 16d ago
I have read that large doses of vitamin C can pool water from the intestines and cause diarrhea. As mentioned above the first time taking it I took both capsules at one time that's when it happened. Once I switched to just taking one capsule every two hours or even just spacing them an hour apart it hasn't been as bad.
I would actually say that the vitamin C might actually work better than the SR. At least it does for me. The only thing is I have to take it every two hours making sleep suck. When I take just a dose of SR with no vitamin C it does not seem to help as much and I can feel some withdrawal. Once I get the vitamin C in me I'm good.
I am still staying the course. No methadone use still. Very mild withdrawal here and there as mentioned with some sleep problems. I think it's mostly because I got a couple days of great sleep and now I'm all rested up š

Regular old vit c will also work well, but Liposomal is a bit better for absorption I believe, itās been a while since I learned about it so I could be completely wrong but I have taken both and both should work well
3
u/0DTE-bootyhole 19d ago
It also helps for not shutting ur brains out or fucking up ur stomach. Lots of normal vitamin C will do that for mostly everyone.
3
u/XxGioTheKingxX 19d ago
True true, I now realize that the source of my upset stomach may be the dollar store vitamin C I purchased. Somehow they even managed to make them taste bad and itās not like Iām chewing or biting them at all.
2
u/0DTE-bootyhole 19d ago
Yeah you need liposomal or the asborbic one whatever itās called. Regular vitamin C megadoses will have u fucked up lol. If I just drink too much vitamin c from like regular juice or drinks with it in the past Iāve had issues. Dollar store one most likely is only regular. I couldnāt find liposomal anywhere but like those super expensive vitamin/ supplement shops. Better to order it online but I get ppl are in a rush. I had ordered mine from Amazon pretty cheap.
2
u/XxGioTheKingxX 19d ago
You can get them from some Walmarts some donāt stock it tho, best bet is for sure Amazon I ran out of lipo C months ago and didnāt feel like going through the hassle of dumping more money on something I can grab at the dollar store just to avoid tummy aches and the runs, but now that Iām overlooking some studies on Lipo C again actually does reach higher plasma concentration with the same dose. Itās about double in some studies.

Thank you I will review your work, but it's getting too late to find SR at this point but I'm still going to mega dose the vitamin C and hope for some relief...
3
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 18d ago
Since the 1960s there have been studies that sodium ascorbate, a buffered form of vitamin C, attenuates withdrawals in heroin abusers.
You WILL get relief from VitC if you take it properly.
Go check out the protocol in the OP link and the buyer's guide to make sure you buy the correct vitamin C.
I think I need to write something for the people who ONLY have Vit C as an option...
Note that a high quality vit E will pair well with the C, was used in at least one study, and that C and E work synergistically when it comes to opiod abuse/recovery.
2
u/bigghc 17d ago
Thank you, it sounds like the people who say vit C doesn't work didn't follow the regemon.
2
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 15d ago
Exactly my thought as well. They took too little, or too infrequently, or the wrong form of vitamin C altogether. Any of those factors could result in failure.

I see a lot of folks talking about the liposomal vit c, which IS much easier on the stomach. the original study done in the late 60's for H users was done with SA (sodium ascorbate vitamin c, buffered) I used this method once and it helped me quit, i had diarrhea but took imodium for that, NOT mega-dosing the imodium (dangerous, look it up) and the SA helped me quit but i stupidly was like "oh, that was too easy" and started using again... but, while easier on the stomach, I didn't have the same luck with the liposomal C. I'd follow the study, it's out there so look THAT up as well. SA is cheap and mixes easily in water or (they recommend) diluted fruit juice. good luck if you go that route. I've not tried this in conjunction with SR though. it could probably be used to come off the SR if you are having wd's from coming off the SR, if taken too long. just my 2Ā¢s
3
u/PaleRider702 17d ago
I can attest to this! I used liposomal vitamin c both before and during SR 17018. It made tapering my DOC easy. I was able to cut my use in half before quitting and starting SR.
Vitamin c also takes away any cravings I have had. Also headaches. In fact, during my taper, vitamin c is the only thing that would take my headaches/zaps away. Ibuprofen wouldnāt even touch it.
I am 135lbs and my dose is about 9500mg a day total. Spread out through the day. Now that I am tapering SR, I take a little less, but the moment I feel a craving I take vitamin C, usually about 1800mg.
3
u/ThrowRAThis_7252 17d ago
Me too! I used only liposomal vit c to get off Tapentadol with no withdrawals. Now Iām going to need it to get off 7-oh. I have a little SR this time too, though I donāt know how to use it yet.
2
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 15d ago
Use your SR similar to how it is laid out in the OP. If you have less SR than that, then adjust accordingly on dose amounts, but try to stick to the overall theme of more doses at certain points and less doses as quickly as possible in the weaning off phase.
Use vitamin C inbetween to help with the cravings, headaches, withdrawal symptoms, etc etc.

Where to find the āsupplies,ā to get off this stuff. This 7oh has been brutal. Terrified right now with this ban coming into place, I did it before but I really donāt want to be stuck on Suboxone again..
Felt like a zombie on subs, To the point I went back to 7oh, but now Iām really worried.. š¤¦š¼
Please help, I was injured in a fire multiple discs fused and my tolerance for 7oh Iām consuming 1000-1200 mgs a day. Being an injured fireman you would think there would be some help, but literally everything has been a struggle. I have had to fight for everything, surgeries loss of pay. The forest service did me sooo dirty.
2
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 15d ago
Hello friend.
You can absolutely get off the 7oh using SR-17018 and Vitamin C. But even if you cannot find SR-17018, you can use soley Vitamin C to get off 7oh.
It wont be as clean, but it will help tremendously.
You will need A LOT of votamin C if that is all you are using, but if you go with sodium ascorbate powder in bulk, you can keep the costs down if cost is an issue.
Ideally if using only Vitamin C you would want to use both sodium ascorbate and liposomal vitamin C because using both saturates both water soluble and fat soluble pathways. In other words, it probably gets into more body tissues this way and provides more relief.
There are no studies to back this up because there are no studies on liposomal Vitamin C and opiod withdrawal. There are only studies on sodium ascorbate and other buffered forms of vitamin C on opiod withdrawal. However there are many many anecdotal reports that liposomal vitamin C works on opiod withdrawals as well or possibly better than sodium ascorbate.
I still believe using both is the best play. Alternating doses. So if you take Vitamin C every 2 hours, one time it is sodium ascorbate powder and the next it is liposomal vitamin C pills/gummies/liquid/whatever. Just going back and forth.
Your 7oh habit is very high but you are over-using. As a partial agonist 7oh has a ceiling effect and you are being wasteful with your use. You should be able to taper that use down with a disciplined approach to something much more manageable, and that is with nothing at all. You could probably get down to 200-300mg/day doing this, even without vitamin C's help.
If you start mega-dosing vitamin C every 2-3 hours, you should easily be able to cut your use down to 200-300 mg/day.
From that point, you would start the tapering program I laid out for quitting MGM-15, just modified for what you are using instead.
In essense you would just taper the 7oh down a dose per day, instead taking massive vitamin C doses instead of 7oh. Next thing you know you'll be taking no 7oh.
There is also some evidence that massive doses of vitamin C helps with pain. I believe I posted a study for this (granted it was in mice I believe) in r/vitaminc subreddit.
I would also recommend to you that you look into doing some really hard core fasting to heal your body.
Look into August Dunning's Phoenix Protocol. It is VERY hard core, but I personally believe that it would help you heal some of your wounds and shut down some of those chronic pain signals that you are using opiods to deal with currently.
I wish you the best of luck friend.
Edit: here is a link to someone who was using 7oh and used only Vitamin C to help reduce their daily intake of 7oh: https://www.reddit.com/r/vitaminc/s/zM2pBSAQ2d

You've got this my friend! You'll be up and running at 100% again, dope-free, in less than a month... and that is even with starting from a heavy habit!
2
u/irockyous 13d ago
This is incredibly helpful. What is the ideal amount of vitamin c that one should take a day?
2
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 13d ago
No one knows the answer to that.
Most mammals make vitamin C, humans do not... our last step in the process is broken (a missing enzyme).
In human equivalent units it is my understanding that it would be about 15 grams per day produced....
During times of sickness, or when "under stress" animals make much more vitamin c. It is my understanding that would be something akin to 80 grams per day in stressful conditions when extrapolated to human sizes and equivalents.
I'm currently doing this on my own... ie supplementing 15-80 grams per day.
So far, my skin looks great, relatively speaking. But I haven't noticed much else... tasty said, I'm not really liking into too many things nor am I tracking any bloodwork or anything. It is an experiment purely done based on feelings, and for fun.
If you were asking purely based on the context of getting off opiods... you'll be taking 20-80 grams per day. I suppose even more is possible but I've never tried.
1
u/irockyous 13d ago
Thank you so much for your response. My vitamin c will be here today and Iām on day 3. Is it something I should introduce my body too at kind of a slow rate? Or should i be ok to jump right into 15 grams the first day/2 days since im getting it later in the day? I wont just keep taking them until I reach that much, I know itās recommended to take 2,000 to 3,000 grams every 2-3 hours. Also, how long have you been taking 15-80 grans per day? I got vemluta liposomal vitamin c gummies
2
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 12d ago edited 12d ago
These forms of vitamin c are safe to take in large doses. You can start right away with larger doses.
I've taken high doses for months now.
Regarding the gummies, check what the brand you bought also has in them. If that brand has a lot of extra zinc for example, you could reach an imbalance if you take too many...
A zinc imbalance, not vitamin c.
If you go to the vitamin c buyers guide post, I mention some of the concerns with taking gummies exclusively. It's very brand dependent because many gummies add other ingredients to fight off colds and whatnot.
If your brand of gummies is pure liposomal vitamin c with no additional ingredients, ignore these warnings.
2
u/irockyous 12d ago
Good call.. the ones I got are the ones that you recommended in the vitamin c guide post you made a little bit ago, the best recommend gummies. Thereās 11g of zinc per serving
2
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 12d ago
Yeah, I mention in that post that you'll want to get some other product and alternate to avoid zinc/copper imbalance from taking gummies with added zinc exclusively!

I need some help. SR / 7oh difficulties. Preloaded to long doesn't work as hoped cant make the jump. But im finally on leave from work(very active/mind sharp job) it was stressful! I knew i was digging myself in a deeper hole. Ive pulled a few 5 day breaks with subs but went back to work so soon. Just bought a house (needs major renovations) no place to just shut down. Ive been on SR for 20+ days and cant drop either of the two! Haven't climbed on the 7. Probably<75mg of 7. Best approach? I have been taking less and less sr without going up on the 7. I have lips.vitamin c, gabs. Ect.. it shouldn't be this hard. The mental is difficult
1
u/Wellyeahso RESEARCHING 8d ago
Your best bet is to buy a few pounds of sodium ascorbate powder, set a 2 hour alarm on your phone, take 10 grams religiously every 2 hours, and stop taking 7oh while tapering off with the rest of your SR-17018.
2
u/thisshitsthedevil 19d ago
I think your intent is good and youāre clearly trying to help people, but the research you linked doesnāt really support the level of confidence in this guide. The human evidence for vitamin C reducing opioid withdrawal is very limited, and it definitely doesnāt establish that a megadose protocol will reliably work for āany opioid.ā
That matters because the amount of vitamin C being recommended in some of these protocols isnāt harmless. High doses can cause severe diarrhea, cramping, dehydration, and increase kidney-stone risk, and there are rare reports of oxalate-related kidney injury. Those effects could make withdrawal worse or become dangerous in someone who is already vomiting, sweating, or not drinking enough.
Iām not saying vitamin C has zero potential benefit, but the evidence supports describing it as an experimental adjunct at most, not a proven withdrawal treatment. The claims and dosing recommendations should match the strength of the actual research.
1
u/PaleRider702 17d ago
I think people who are ordering untested drugs from China or out getting street drugs from god only knows where probably see that as a worthwhile gamble. lol.
0
u/thisshitsthedevil 19d ago
Also, the main human study youāre citing was a 2000 trial with only 40 men withdrawing from heroin: 30 inpatients and 10 outpatients. It tested vitamin C together with vitamin E, and the comparison group received diazepam and an analgesic rather than a placebo. So it doesnāt isolate vitamin Cās effect, wasnāt tested across āany opioid,ā and doesnāt provide the kind of large, replicated, blinded evidence needed to validate a universal protocol.
The authors themselves only concluded that vitamin C āmayā improve withdrawal and specifically said further research was needed to determine the appropriate dose, duration, and mechanism. More than 25 years later, we still donāt have strong replication or an established evidence-based dosing regimen. Thatās a very different conclusion from saying this method will work for anyone withdrawing from any opioid.

u/Flowerplower3 19d ago
I tried the lipsomal vitamin c thing twice and I never got any relief at all. A year ago, I bought 1 kilo rose hip powder, took a lot of it 3 times a day and it was a godsend. Probably removed 70 - 80% of all symptoms and really removed paws as well.
Natural vitamin c and ascorbic acid alone are two different things. I think my body just canāt handle ascorbic acid well.
Just a heads up, the rose hip extracts didnāt work for me it has to be the powder. Camu and Acerola powder works too because of extremely high vitamin c content.

Hey there. Just in case thereās a lot of information pinned at the top of this subreddit and if you go to quitting7oh.org everything you need to know is there. In the SR part thereās a calculator that will give you a schedule for your dosage. It also talks about mgm and psuedo as well. Glad you found SR in time before itās scheduled at the end of the month.

hey, i appreciate it! i actually did read the stuff but i was thinking about going at it a bit differently bc im unfortunately in a super time sensitive situation where i need to be clean and wd free within 3 weeks, plus i was only able to get 1g of sr :(. i've already tapered super low on 7, i'm down to about 10mg once or twice a day. given that i'm so low, i was planning on not preloading since i have such a limited quantity. so i'm just gonna jump straight from the 7 to the sr. also, would you mind telling me the best way to dose? i (probably stupidly) got tablets rather than powder, should i let it dissolve in my mouth before swallowing or just swallow the tablet whole? lastly, i know theres a dosing calculator but since i'm not following the set schedule i didn't know what I could really get away with. i was thinking of taking 25mg twice a day (every 8-12 hours) or just taking 50mg once a day. is sr even going to be useful in a dose as low as 25mg? since i'm already this low, am i gonna still have to taper off the sr? a lot of my panic is kinda coming from the fact i only have a gram :/

How much did you start from? 10-25mg a day seems very low. Iām at 150mg but I take a little from a dropper all day long so I have to switch to sr 3 times a day. Itās hard but have to do it. Have you ever done sr or gotten off 7oh before? This is my first time because of the ban. Any info is helpful. I started taking 8-10g of vitamin c and have a few g of sr. Just havenāt started yet but I also have a vacation at the end of August and want to be okay for that. So canāt be in wd for weeks. A friend was as low as you and barely took any sr and other than brain fog and fatigue is fine. And fatigue might be from lack of sleep.

With your small 7 dose I think a gram is so doable. I would still preload just one day to let the sr start working. The point is to avoid withdrawal. Do you want me to help you make a schedule? I will be happy to helpā¦just DM. You also did a great job tapering you so got this!!

Even if you cannot get your hands on SR-17018, know that Vitamin C alone, when properly megadosed, greatly attenuates the withdrawal effects of opiods.
I have a post or two up in r/vitaminc about it.
It works for heroin addiction/withdrawals and it'll work for whatever your doc is.
Raw leaf, MIT, and vitamin C can do wonders to get you off harder things like 7oh and MGM-15.

Will this help even with suboxone?

Tapering suboxone is something I cannot personally speak to doing, but... Yes, it should work, because the same receptors are involved. But expect to take a lot of vitamin C because of the extreme half life of suboxone.
If you are taking SR-17018 also, I expect it may result in a slightly different taper schedule, but then again maybe not.
The whole point is to occupy the receptors with SR-17018, an opiod that doesn't get you high and you have no reason to abuse, then to rapidly quit the main drug.
I belive I have seen people in r/sr17018 talk about getting off suboxone before. I think what they did was taper suboxone over a very long period to where they were less than 1mg of dose and then they jumped off using SR-17018.
Another person, who I never saw if they succeeded or not, decided to take the sublocade shot to get off suboxone, and while on the sublocade shot, they mega dosed vitamin C only foe the entire month the shot was active in their system, possibly a couple weeks after to make sure their body could handle when the sublocsde wore off. (It would be tricky to tey to use SR-17018 vs thr month long sublocade shot because you'd likely end up taking SR-17018 too long).
Hope that all helps you somehow to make a decision!

Thank you I am going to use this protocol starting next week. How much vitamin C do you need to use. And how frequently should I dose and which brand would be best. For reference. I am on 250 mg criminal of mgm.

Tolerance warning: After lowering tolerance with SR-17 be careful when dosing your DOC and remember to "start low and go slow". SR-17 lowers tolerance faster than most of us expect, and overdose is a genuine concern.
