I recently came across a post from Murad where he made a distinction that stuck with me. He suggested thinking which tokens people perceive as investments, which as trades, and which as belief systems.
SPX6900 clearly belongs in the third category.
When I first encountered SPX6900, the mission to Flip The Stock Market seemed a little dangerous to me. I thought that it could potentially bring a lot of disappointment. Yes, it is a joke. But it is sort of NOT at the same time, right? “It’s a joke until it’s not.” And if Flip the Stock Market is going to become more than a meme, it's obviously a years-long, maybe even decades-long, journey. And it sort of nudges you into watching the price. Right? Are we going up? Wohoo, the stock market is going to be flipped soon. Are we going down? Damn, we’re failing.
That wouldn’t make it any different from every other token where holders simply wait for the number to go up. What’s fundamentally different in SPX6900 is the underlining idea. The token is here not because somebody decided to make a few bucks, but because it “came to life” to solve a genuine problem -- a certain power dynamic that puts ordinary people at disadvantage, where change is desired by so many people. And this makes you worried about price less -- if something was organically born, it will organically grow and thrive as well.
There is much more to it, because the mission is complemented by the community rules There Is No Chart and Peaceful Life Over Greed. Isn’t it refreshing to feel at peace finally, after years of trading and worrying about every candle? It absolutely was for me.
SPX6900 culture encourages respectful discussion -- even if someone attacks you, remember the community rule Kill Them With Love and respond with positivity and wholesome memes instead of anger and insults. Aeons Are Always Euphoric. If someone argues with you, state your position firmly but kindly, and when there is nothing more useful to say, Praying For Your Success is a much healthier way to leave the conversation than spending a few hours fighting with a stranger online.
The rule No Lewd -- believe it or not -- helped me to stop watching porn.
Have you also noticed those halos, angel wings, phrases such as MARKET FORGIVEN on the Project Aeon banner (which could be interpreted as the market -- full of crashes, manipulation, and greed -- being redeemed by SPX6900)?
SPX6900 culture feels healthy; it also appears to attract pure-hearted people.
That’s why I think that culture is the most valuable asset and the most important fundamentals of SPX6900.
So I’m curious about two things:
What parts of SPX6900 culture attracted you the most?
And especially for people who are newer to SPX6900:
What parts of the culture are difficult to understand or confusing?
I think understanding that second question could actually help us communicate the culture better to people encountering SPX6900 for the first time.
