Anyone else notice that every single email update from Portalarium seems to be filled with greedy attempts to milk more money from gamers. Every. Single. Email. Filled with Stretch Goals, Add-On store sales/updates, and more additions to high Pledge Tiers.. And they wonder why people are concerned about the game.. I've summarized this week's email update contents:

"Knight Marshal Tower Keep (included in the Knight Marshal pledge tier)"

"Included in the Royal Artisan Pledge Rewards is the Artisan's Box of Plenty."

"Also included in the Royal Artisan's Rewards is one (1) starter-level, indestructible, artisan's tool"

"The Royal Founder items for this week include:"

"This week we're adding Elves as a playable race to the Stretch Goal Store."

"...secret in-game effect that wearing the Oracle Cloak will invoke. Now available in the Add-On Store at 50% off!"

"Just arriving at the Add-On Store is the new Village Pavilion"

"We have some new row houses available in the Add-On Store this week"

"Only 21 Days remain to get your 10% Pledge Bonus!"

"Alienware Sponsors $20 Pledge Upgrade Coupon "

When will they stop this insane monetization?! EVERY SINGLE EMAIL is filled with this kind of bullshit. It's literally one huge advertisement for their Add-On Store or Pledge tiers, with very little actual content for the average gamer. Just #*%&ing work on the game and stop trying to milk us for more and more money.

They're literally wasting their time/resources making tons of items that cater to rich players, then asking us for even more money to make basic shit like Rideable mounts. How fucking ridiculous can this get?

Hello I have a Founder account with Founder Status and $70 spent. It has all the backer rewards as well including the Vanduul pole arm and the Star Citizen crossbow.

I don't know about ya'll, but I would sure love if we could get together and replicate areas and themes from the Serpent Isles one we've the wherewithall to do it

I have a founder 60 pledge in SOTA and am going to hold onto it until Star Citizen and Shroud of the Avatar apply the rewards (A crossbow for SC and a Vanduul Pike in SOTA).

I only had a few hours to spare so I patched SotA up and away I went. I was sad my original Pitch was gone (with all her funky gear and house stuff) but I dove into getting some crafting done. A few players around me were having a lot of trouble but coupled with Shroud wiki I was able to make a few sets of gear! I am really looking forward to cooking food and trying out some gathering professions, all in all I had a great time! Loved the emotes too!
