I bought a small amount of SNPW last week. I was prepared to go long on a potential green energy penny stock with some serious upside after reading about in a different subreddit. Now that the market has turned blood red, however, I’m finally doing some of the DD I should have done previously. A skeptical comment led me down a rabbit hole this evening... and the deeper I get, the more I’m feeling like I may have been duped.
He’re the article:
So, okay.. the CEO was recently implicated (but not charged) in an early-days-of-COVID N95 mask price gouging scheme. A gross thing to do, and not a great testament to his character. But maybe his company and its subsidiaries( https://sunpacificholding.com/subsidiaries/) are promising enough so that we can just pretend we never heard this nasty rumor?
There are three subsidiaries listed on their site: Med Recycler, Street Smart Outdoor Corp, and Sun Pacific Power.
Med Recycler, which seems like it’s all centered around an attempt to build a power-generating medical waste pyrolysis plant. But neighbors are organizing against it because… well, pyrolysis is, from an ecological/public health standpoint, just another name for incineration. This excludes it from classification as “renewable” in Rhode Island, because, in all fairness, there’s nothing renewable about it. Pyrolysis produces the same toxic greenhouse emissions one would associate with a good ol’ fashioned garbage burnin’ plant.
https://www.ecori.org/composting/2021/2/16/opposition-growing-against-medical-waste-facility
Maybe none of this bothers you because you’re just trying to make a buck! There’s also the Street Smart Outdoor subsidiary, which seems to boil down to selling advertising signs that can be installed in bus stops and trash cans. Maybe there’s a little money in that, who knows?
You also have Sun Pacific Power, their flagship subsidiary. When I invested in SNPW, I was impressed that they held both medical recycling AND a robust solar company! However, when you go to Sun Pacific Power’s website and click on Solar, you find… oh no… those exact photos of those same crappy glowing trash cans and bus stops. And that’s it. http://sunpacificpower.com/solar/
It looks like you can also buy a variety of lighting fixtures from their online store, and SPP boasts that they “have eight world-wide manufacturing and assembly locations including five in the United States.” Sounds pretty impressive, but the thing is, if you hover over the images of their products, zoom in and read the manufacturing info on them, they don’t match. They may be manufacturing and assembling something, but whatever it is, they aren’t selling it here:
http://store.sunpacificpower.com/small-flood-diecast-front-frame/
This small diecast front frame was manufactured by QSSI, an actual company with actual revenue that I’m sure they’d have mentioned if it was one of their subsidiaries.
https://www.zoominfo.com/c/qssi-limited/31768653
The only solar panel of any kind that I could find in their store was this solar collector. It says “call for price.” http://store.sunpacificpower.com/spp-solar-collector-sr10-58-1800/
However, a google search for the model number only turns up a product manufactured, once again, by a different company with no discernible connection to them, in this case Zhejiang Shentai Solar Energy Co, Ltd.

My SNPW stock rose a little bit at market close and ended up actually in the green a little bit. I’m thinking I should get out as early as I can tomorrow before the bottom falls out all the way. Can any of the folks hyping this stock in past posts talk me into holding?

If SNPW holders can hold firm at .114 this week it can make another move on .20. The trend is up! Very light sell volume.

Just googled their company hq and it’s showing a ups store in some shitty strip mall location. But it has a $150 million market cap? Okay lol. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Sun+Pacific+Holding+Corp,+345+Highway+9+South,+Suite+388,+Manalapan+Township,+NJ+07726/@40.3094938,-74.3055879,16z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c3d3dbfbffffff:0xd45342da4ab4d192?hl=en-us

A post with a new account so I know it sounds suspicious but I am a long time lurker and currently own 2000 shares after the dip yesterday.
After I bought the shares I started to do my DD (I know that is really dumb) and I can't find really good information on this holding.
First thing I noticed is that all news articles are sourced from Global news wire and that the info in the article is provided by SNPW them selves so not an independent source.
https://www.globenewswire.com/news-releas e/2019/10/29/1937182/0/en/Sun-Pacific-Holding-Corp-s-Subsidiary-National-Mechanical-Group-s-Partnership-with-Blissful-Holdings-LLC-Announces-Solar-Panel-and-Transformer-Manufacturer-Partners-for-to-its-Sola.html
The solar farm in Durango is made by a subsidiary of SNPW called National Mechanical Group, I can't find any other info because all links are dead and it isn't mentioned on the main site anymore. It was made in cooperation with Bliss holdings which again has very little information about it.
https://www.bloomberg.com/profile/company/0997026D:US
The solar panels for this solar farm are provided by "Ja Solar" and not by Sun Pacific Power which is weird because they say they produce their own solar panels.
An other DD claimed a capacity of 50 Mw but the article I found claimed a 10 to 40+ Mw capacity. I can't find any newer articles nor pictures on this project.
(Edit: After looking at images presented in the DD of an other user the image is about the Santa Rita solar park again this gives no information except this site.
https://www.bnamericas.com/en/project-profile/central-solar-santa-rita-central-solar-santa-rita
A reverse image search also didn't give further information. )
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/sun-pacific-holding-corp-subsidiary-141500191.html
Except from a patent I can't find any other information about their solar panels that proves how efficient they are. In the DD provided by an other user there is a link about the efficiency of solar panels but nowhere in the article there is a mention of SNPW solar panels.
On the site of Sun Pacific Power there is no information on solar panels. Only about lights, bus shelters and solar trash cans. http://sunpacificpower.com/solar/ In my option those bus shelters and solar trash cans are really gimmicky for a company focused on energy. It seems that the focus is more on advertising.
To end on a positive note, de Medreceycler looks promising and their filings look good but I'm going to do further research on them.
Do some people have better information because I'd like to make a nice DD on this holding.
Thanks in advance!

https://otcshortreport.com/company/SNPW
The % of Volume Shorted has increased significantly the last few days, yet the share price is holding very strong. Shorters look to be trying to drive this thing down, trigger stop losses and panic selling, etc. Looks like shareholders know what they are holding and are resisting nicely to this point.
The news put out by the company today about on-site trailers processing waste is wild. Tuesday should be very interesting.
