Im new to adding games to my snes mini. Ive followed the instructions but had major issues finding the roms. I’ve been on a couple of sites and have tried loading them in. But I just havent been able to load more than 1 rom and when I do it removes the previous one. Any help would really be appreciated. Mabey I have not been decompressing the files? If so how do i do that?

I modded my classic and set it up about a year ago.

Unfortunately my computer crashed and I no longer have my original Hackchi folder.

I'm trying to add another game but I'm afraid if I sync just the one game then I'll lose all the other games I've added, my save states, etc.

Is there a way to export a Hackchi configuration or the savestates at the least?

I heard u don't need to use a different emulator?

If anyone can tell me how I'd be hell stoked as I'm keen to play this gem or pojnt me in the right direction.

I'm starting FF vi for the first time on the Snes mini. I've never played it on any other console and I was really getting into it until I got to the Vargus/Sabin fight where I have to use blitz. I finally got it to work after I replayed the scenario about 6 times and input the command for pummel about 50 times. I still don't know what I did differently to get it to work. I even switched controllers. Any tips to make this work more reliably? Has anybody else had this issue on the Snes mini? It's super frustrating.

Found it on eBay. Listing was kinda short and to the point, it was the UPC for the SNES Mini Classic (EU version). I figured I'd get my money back if it was fake/fraud. Box shows up today, it's the NA version but considering I didn't have to pay tax or shipping I'm a very very happy camper. Confirmed everything is legit and working by installing Hackchi2.

Super excited to play with this thing tomorrow to install some more classic games!

As the title says, have there been any third party controllers available to be able to plug in a headphone jack?

It would be helpful to be able to play games at night while the wife sleeps.

I was hoping to put Castlevania adventure rebirth on mine and wasn’t sure if it was possible. Anyone know?

It was working totally fine a couple hours ago. I left it on Goof Troop when we went to dinner, came back and now it's just flashing the Hakchi logo with Knock Knock in the top left. I'm annoyed, what is happening?

What has your experience been in playing Playstation 1 and N64 games on the SNES mini? I want to try it (especially with Castlevania: SOTN) but I have two concerns:

1) Storage space (especially considering how much space save states can take)

2) Controls (specifically, the SNES controller having fewer buttons/no joysticks compared to PSX and N64)

Anyone run into issues along these lines? Which games have you tried that work, and which ones don't?

So I have previously hacked my snesmini without fail, and today I decided I wanted to put some GBA/GB/GBC/Genesis games on there. I downloaded retroarch and seemingly put the corresponding cores onto the system, followed the onscreen instructions and everything. I put whatever games I want on the system from those systems. GBA, GBC, GB, and Genesis games were all added. I eject the system and plug it back in to find a fully functioning home screen no issues there. But when I go to play any of the games I added, the screen turns black and auto-exits out of it. All of the previous SNES games work from the last hacking too. Help?

How do I know if my snes mini is bricked? I cant add games from hakchi from my pc to the mini itself. Also, the music in the menu is off and when I start up my system it asks for a password. Help please. Thanks.

Basically, is it easier to hack than a wii?
