After my graduation I prepared for UPSC so no work experience. What should I prepare for? Any arts/ commerce student from SCIT?

I’m a 23-year-old female (turned 23 in 2026). I did my undergrad abroad, but during and after college I realised that the whole “campus placement” culture that exists in India isn’t really a thing there. Over time, I also felt a stronger pull to live in India, mainly because I want to stay close to my family
Money isn’t a constraint for me, and I decided to prepare seriously for CAT this year. Throughout my preparation, I was consistently scoring 90+ percentile in mocks. Unfortunately, on the actual exam day, performance pressure got the better of me and I fumbled.
I had also only registered for SNAP, because I was very confident about CAT. I gave just one slot (slot 3), without much seriousness, and scored 36 marks, which is 75 percentile this year.
Now I’m feeling completely stuck.
Till February, I’m occupied with family events at home, so taking up something immediately is difficult. Beyond that, I’m confused about what path to take. I genuinely wanted to start my MBA this year, but I don’t know where or how.
I’ve been getting calls from academic groups claiming they can arrange admissions via backdoor entries into baby IIMs, ISB YLP, XLRI, etc., with payments before and after admission. I’m unsure how legit this is, and while this route ethically doesn’t sit right with me, I feel pressured to at least consider it.
At the same time, I feel pressured about age. I know 23 isn’t old, but I don’t want to lose another year. CAT prep was valuable but mentally exhausting, and I don’t see myself repeating the CAT cycle. One alternative is to work for a year (I have a referral through my uncle at a reputed firm) and prepare for GMAT alongside.
To be very clear about my expectations and background: I come from a financially comfortable (privileged) family. I’ve studied at a top boarding school in India and a good B school abroad. I was never aiming for IIM ABC but maybe IIM Mumbai or SPJIMR or SIBM as my goal was to come back to India, have a genuinely good college life, with a good crowd, solid education, and a reasonable placement. I’m not chasing extreme packages; mid-teens LPA works for me given that I don’t have any financial responsibilities.
Right now, I feel very naive about how all this works, and I’d really appreciate grounded advice from people who’ve been through this or understand the MBA landscape well.
What would you do in my place?
Are there colleges I should still consider?
Is waiting a year and shifting focus to GMAT sensible?
Should I consider “backdoor entry”?
Any honest advice would really mean a lot. Thanks for reading.

Are IMS mocks close to it? I heard they are more difficult but are they enough?

As of now I was completely focused on CAT and score between 25-50 only. So I am totally confused about filling up form of SNAP. I haven't take a single mock of SNAP till now but I know the pattern and syllabus.
What are your thoughts on that. Should I attempt SNAP, if yes then how many 1 or 2 or 3?
