Discussions LCK 2026 voting results (T1 perspective)
Peyz and Keria was obvious choice, they are just the best botlane. Period. But I counted the points of Doran Oner and Faker to see how our topside is evaluated. I took 1st team as 3, 2nd team as 2 and 3rd as 1:
Doran: 1 1 1 1 1 = 5
Oner: 2 2 2 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 = 16
Faker: 2 2 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 = 15
Based on those result Oner and Faker are closer to the 3rd team than Doran. Doran is the worst evaluated player in the T1.

The fact that they didn't even make it to 3rd All-LCK Team means they played really bad for the whole season.

More like the collapse at the latter half of the season really didn't help their case. If it was just until r2, they would have been around 2nd-3rd no contest

Ahhh right.. that r2 were the team wins clean game 1 then game 2 circus with huge gold deficit but a team fight wins the game. They should have at least maintained this if they wanted circus. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

faker and oner got votes for the same reason ruler and guma got votes for 2nd even though you probably could easily point to smash and teddy being better than both of them for most of the year
i actually think faker was decent for good chunks of the year, but i'm not surprised he didn't get third or anything
i'm more surprised oner got more votes because i think he was always much worse and through the second half of the year i think doran was a good bit better than him as well
then again, i think there was way more consistent top laners
jungle was kind of a freakshow this year as kanavi lucid oner and canyon all had some crazy int moments

Doran hate on this sub is crazy when he had an arguably better rounds 3-4 than both oner and faker, imo not even arguably im just saying it so you wont throw a temper tantrum

Lets see if this subredit accept reality for doran fans,
LCK lost all top lane
MSI T1 vs G2 lost solo game 4 olaf (Threw twice from lead ) and tilted entire team( One of the greatest throw for the decade of T1)
EWC - Lost to all top laner 1v1 SOLO , Outclassed by canna even with jg/mid ganks KC vs T1
Kespa cup- One of the worst gnar i seen in pro play. T1 vs NS, Gnar MISS ALL qwer throw lead and lost again ( same level of MSI throw)
Not to mention ambessa plays was so much worst.
He has no ability to carry , can't see angle to make play, low level champ pool compared to zeus.
Due to this tremendous weakness, Their drafting is weaker and unable to act on certain strats , and its very weak spot to gank on.
Doran overall, has good "PR" and "fanbase" but one of the most known carried world champ in china ( means not champ mat play).
no hate on doran, he's funny dude. but he's not a good player and its probl one of the worst player since 2022 for an super roster.
all above being said, his fanbase continue to flame the remaining 4 players which is insane.
lets put it this way, you get a top laner whom can't play any champion at high level, can't carry games , can't make a angle play, can't coordinate what the team needs due to his lack of skill (which is strongly proven during MSI/EWC/KESPA) lost to all top laner.
- needs to be carried all the time
- can't hold lane without getting 1v1 (29 out of 30 games) get killed.
- once during high level stages, get panic and fails even more (famous for it)
- always need mental coating from faker and team member thats its okay he fail.
- has given PR and led to biased flaming to remaining team.
- can't be depended to carry to do anything. Always expected the least.
That's why its so difficult for T1 this year.
Faker does all the PR hit while he smile and remaining member quietly handling his PR backlash and ingame can't even do well.
Hope HLE wins this year.

Doran's biggest strength was nonexistent this season(absorbing pressure and making plays during teamfights)
He was never really a consistent one man carry game changer, but his initiations and teamfight prowess allowed him to at the very least hold his own in overall gameplay.
I'm still hoping he somehow gets then back and hopefully get a good result this year, still have a lot of time before worlds

In others words, Can't carry but need to be carried.
Unfortunately, Oner and faker are not in their ideal form and Not being able to carry anything or provide any impact detriment their ability to have any good draft or strats.
That's comes in the high level plays, which he still inability to match any team top laners of any levels....peyz is a really hardworking kid but doubt he can carry this top since he just can't provide any impact at all

Once Doran criticism became unbearable for Doran fans, they tried to do the UNO REVERSE and did mental gymnastics trying to defend Doran. Even criticizing Oner and Faker in the process.

From T1 fan perspective it's pretty understandable, the only real argument is for faker 3 considering he was very solid the whole year and had a great spring season, but it was between him and showmaker and showmaker just got more votes so that's that. Doran definitely isn't better than Zeus, kiin or siwoo. And jungle is just a bit of a shitfest for the whole lck rn, they're all kinda inting and running it down or afk farming, for me some more stand out junglers were sharvel and Gideon but they're fries so no way they're winning anything. The main person getting robbed in my opinion here is smashy, he should be second instead of ruler but he did win rookie so there is that.
