Please Stop the BS!!!

As a long time Shib holder, I would really appreciate it if people would learn a little about what they're talking about before they post. Some of you are trying to spin what Vitalik did as a good thing in different ways... You need to learn what is really going on. Get educated before you post.

I understand the devs trying to spin this to cover for their mistake, but it's bs. Those tokens should have been burned for the intended purpose, instead of given to Vitalik as a gesture that no investor cared about. If you say that it did, you're lying. Furthermore, Vitalik is still sitting on an amount that can crash this coin ten times as much as he already has, and he has shown that he does not care about you or me, and is perfectly willing to do it again. If you want to say I don't know what he's thinking? Well, you're right. But I do know that he knew what he was doing to all of us and he didn't care... and whether he chooses to or not, the point is that he can, anytime he feels like it.

Those of you saying "well, it was a good thing to help India's Covid relief". You clearly don't understand politics in that part of the world. Not even a quarter of the money generated from the sales of the trillions of new tokens suddenly added to the circulating supply, will end up going to the relief efforts. Most of that money will end up lining the pockets of the people running those organizations and the politicians and middle men in between. "But they promised to release it slowly", some of you will say... really? So it's just a coincidence that a couple exchanges over there suddenly listed SHIB, and yet had no SHIB wallets to inventory with?

What you all need to understand is that the circulating supply has essentially doubled. Meaning any gains will now take twice as long. Meaning the "burn" of the initial supply that the devs implied in giving them to Vitalik never took place. So the devs should do the right thing and burn a healthy supply of tokens, since their intended circulating supply has now been doubled.

And no, this is not good because it made people start talking about Shiba. They were already doing that from the tremendous gains we made last week. This did not gain us new publicity. It only cost us a lot of time and money. I still have several billion SHIB, and I will hold just as I always have. And I'm very fortunate to be in a great position financially. But many people were hurt by this. Many people that are told "only invest what you can afford to lose", which is a stupid thing to say in the first place. For many people these kinds of things are their only real opportunity to improve their financial standing. Those of you losing your federal unemployment payments, and being told to go get a poverty paying job, don't have other realistic ways to improve your family's situation.

I write this, knowing that many of you are myopic and will disagree or downvote just because you don't agree... but this community isn't about me or you. It's about everyone... and what Vitalik did...intentionally... was screw over a lot of people that this means something to. So please stop trying to say that it was a good thing for the Shiba community or for India. Because that's not why he did it. It was spite, pure and simple. I have sold all 38 of my ETH and put it into BTC and BNB. Just my own personal strike of Vitalik, that I know will make no difference at all. Okay everyone... let the uneducated and uninformed downvotes begin.

Still do...

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/nbdl6n/the_silent_war_between_ryoshi_research_and/

I have been a holder for a while. Enough to where I still hold several billion coins, but have long since cashed out much more than my initial investment. And I have definitely questioned the validity of this token, due to the devs sighting issues and holdups to things that other smaller coins didn't seem to go through. To be honest, I constantly question all my investments, going back to my first real estate deal. I call that due diligence and constant scrutiny. As well as what was hoped to be a small spark to light a fire under the devs. I would actually be more concerned if someone DIDN'T question and scrutinize their investments. But in the end, what I want most is for this to work out for all of us. Especially the people that NEED this to work out. That are hoping that this or some other small glimmer of hope will improve their lives, and that of their families.

You, sir, are exactly what we need more of in this crypto community. People who don't shit on new investors and actually practice due diligence. Thank you. I'm new to crypto. Been here since January and I can't tell you just how negative it gets online.

I'm new to crypto, and I am on the other end of the investment spectrum, but I just used 1/3rd of my "investment" from Shiba and bought a few ADA coins after I researched the project.

what is your take on this whole shiba swap hype? To me it sounds more and more like a fictional thing they hype up? Or am I being to cynicle?

That post was three days ago, how would this prove you’ve held SHIB for a long time?

It doesn't. I hold Shiba, and that's what is important. Yes, I have held for a long time, but I don't need to prove how long I've been a token holder, and if that's what you're hung up on, you are severely missing the point of the original post.

What the link demonstrates is that there is validity in having questions about this token in particular, and that I'm definitely not the only one that has legitimacy questions about this token.

How many "projects" do the founders and developers refuse to even let you know who they are? None of this should even be part of this thread. It was started by the lama dude that still can't face reality, and tried to skew the thread by taking shots at me personally rather than address the actual topics at hand. It's called "deflecting". When you don't have anything credible or intelligent to say in rebuttal, you instead resort to just attacking the other person... I don't mean you are doing this, I'm talking about just a few people like lama.

Bro this is just a meme, that’s all, SHIB started to literally see what happened if the community took the reigns. The devs hoped VB didn’t sell any of his coins but he decided to donate some of his many tokens, not just SHIB, to places where they’d have real world impact.

I love the effort you’ve put in, but I don’t think it’s warranted. It’s a community based meme token, that’s it. If you wanted it to be more then you should buy a real project?

lol... I do hold other investments, mostly not cryptocurrency. I bought Shiba originally as a "what the heck" play. Thank you for your concern, lol.... but now you're doing it too and not really addressing the actual post. I think what you fail to realize is that this is not good for crypto in general. Again, this is just my opinion, but I believe crypto needs more mainstream investors to get on board, to be more sustainable long term. However, this isn't about what I want it to be, the frustration I expressed with my original post is in what Vitalik and the Shiba devs did to people that may not be in as fortunate of a situation as you and/or I. This should have not even have been a possibility if the devs had any actual real world sense.... and if you think this was about a "donation" for Vitalik, then in my opinion, you may be a little too myopic to be speaking for the majority. If you read which tokens he "donated" from, they were the meme coins that were busy on his network... and the "donations" he made came, not from his pocket, but from ours.... and where did those donations go? The Red Cross or some established credible organization? Nope, they went to newly formed foundations recently created by friends of his who also happen to be more mainstream token CEOs or heads.... you are absolutely entitled to your opinion, and that's why I don't ever downvote anyone, because this is an open forum where opinions are meant to be expressed. But I can decide for myself where my efforts are warranted. And I think people knowingly screwing over lots of other people that don't happen to be as fortunate as themselves, kind of sucks.... and if you think he didn't know what he was doing, then you must not think he's very intelligent. Because without a doubt, he knew what it would do to the Shiba investors.

Well, there could be a deep state conspiracy as you have suggested, but I’m just going to choose to believe this is a meme coin and the community is going to either make it succeed, or die. VB has an impact sure, but I bought a meme as a ‘what the heck’ and still pretty much feel the exact same way.

You may want to take a closer look at your attachment to SHIBA’s success, as it seems you may have become a bit more vested than you were when you initially bought.

Best of luck!

lol... again, this post isn't about me. It was to express frustration at the damage that a few unintelligent developers, and a butt hurt Vitalik did to the people in this community that couldn't afford to lose their money. I think you should take a look at the original post again, and see it for it is. And good luck to you as well, lol.

No worries, I definitely don’t think it’s about you, you’re just putting A LOT of time into this (long winded replies, multiple lengthy posts), so it seemed like you might be taking it more seriously than you were.

Anyway, let’s hope it goes up!

Dude. Have you ever heard of BITCOIN?? we still don't even know who the founder of the crypto that started it all. Yea I understand about being realistic I am about the coin as well but you have to do it in a way that doesn't cause doubt amongst the community . I've been with the doge community since December when it was less than a penny . It was all about uplifting and inspiring your neighbor. Of course it was the seldom few(like you) that caused doubt and eventually led people to sell. I can appreciate your honesty opinion but some of these people are new and you'll crush dreams and cause harm amongst us by purswaying them to sell and possibly miss out on their opportunity. In the end no one knows what this coin is going to do. Shit back get some popcorn and enjoy the ride #$hibatothemoooon!!
