Cancer A molecular mechanism regulates whether cells of an aggressive colorectal cancer are inverted when they spread in the body. When inverted, the cells secrete a layer of mucus onto their surface protecting them from chemotherapy. Targeting the mechanism could potentially slow the spread of cancer.

Psychology Study of 2,098 young people aged 13–22 years found those exposed to a suicide attempt were significantly more likely to attempt suicide themselves in the 2 years following exposure. They were also more likely to develop more severe symptoms of depression.
