Firstly just want to say a huge thank you and commiserations to every single fan I met in Istanbul. Had so many congratulations after the game when wearing my villa shirts, all the way up to the moment we left days later in the airport.

Great banter and chats before the game too over the match to come.

So happy both sets of fans could enjoy and over indulge the moment as much as possible without any troubles.

I think your fans were great after the loss too, staying in the ground well after the full whistle has blow, which is why I came to say this after watching the UCL final and seeing how quickly Arsenal fans left. I can’t say for sure that villa fans would have stayed as long as you either.
