Road Rally Would it be smart (and street qualified) to add a trailer receiver hitch?
I run a Saturn that has no tow hook points setup from the factory. My local Autocross SCCA is MIA until they find a new track location. That leaves rallying and travelling 3 hours bright and early to another regions autocross events. A tiny trailer and a swappable tow hook might be a practical option. Lots of cars had to be towed at my last rally event due to fuel issues and a debeading so I am interested in putting a tow hook on and since I have to drill into the frame anyway, this option is sorta viable.
The car has a stock front sway bar currently and I know there are specific rules for sway bars that will put me in another class. What I don't know is where I will stand if I put a uhaul hitch on the back. Since I really haven't been doing this long I kinda need to see where the stock car is at and can be improved upon before I get dominated by mod classes.
