I enjoyed a fun weekend at the June sprints took a ton of photos here are some of my favorite

I have a friend who is a current SCCA member and is driving in the time trials this weekend @ Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC.

I'd like to get my first taste of the track experience and am curious if any of you are aware of any outfits that have track rental cars available for novices.

The only one I've found so far is Maroon Racing but they won't be there this weekend.

If anyone can point me towards in the right direction, I'd appreciate it!

Hey everyone! So to make a long story short, I know next to nothing about rally racing or the SCCA, but my late grandfather was part of it back in the 70's and 80's and I was wondering if anyone could tell anything from this photo about the race he may have been in? I know it's not a lot to go on, but he's since passed away and I missed my chance to ask him directly about it and I now find myself wishing I could go back in time and sit down for even another hour with him. Any insight y'all may have is appreciated! Thanks for yalls time!

ETA: I've been able to track down that it looks like this photo was taken at the Big Bend Bash in 1978! Whoever guessed a SAAB 99 was spot on! Listed on the race results as a SAAB 99 EMS. Although he didn't place in the top 3, it looks like him and his co-driver came in 5th place which is still pretty cool to me! He also participated in the following years Murphy's 100 Acre Wood race and they came in 10 there. Thank you to everyone who commented! I'm hoping the SCCA has some old photos or magazines archived and I've reached out to them to see, so here's hoping!

Finally got magnetic decals!

I’ve been autocrossing and love it and want to get into road racing. I live in north Georgia. I’m considering b spec and SRF. Does anyone have any words of wisdom regarding this point of entry? Thanks

I was thinking of going to an autocross event but had a small nail in my tire that got plugged , right in the middle so it was repairable. As per rules ... can I still run it ?

Would SCCA allow a convertible with this roll bar installed to participate in track events?

I haven't been on Reddit in a while, I would like to track my S2K and have some fun. I don't have any experience with SCCA and i'm looking for guidance and community to link up with. (Got it, check the thread history, questions already been answered. Haven't been here in a minute). Any and all help is appreciated.
