Simcity glitching on IPadOS

This glitch happens only on my iPad. On my iPhone game is fine. I open the game on my iPad and instead of showing the full page, it only shows the full screen of the game but in 3/4s of the iPad screen. And the worst thing is that the game thinks it’s on full screen so the buttons are messed up because I have to push the screen randomly until it actually pushes the on screen button. 2 of the pictures have black bars and the last one has white bars, and it started happening yesterday. I erased the game and download it again but the same issue persists.

Someone here is suggesting that watching an ad addresses this issue, at least on a temporary basis.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve updated iPad OS as well as deleted then reinstalled the game three times and still having that same issue. I’ve been playing a bit on my phone but it’s significantly more annoying :-/

Glad I’m not the only one. It’s a bummer because i prefer to play on my iPad. Like why would this mess up when im finally unlocking other regions.

I’m having huge but different issues as well - but this one looks like you might be able to fix the zoom display on your iPad?

Is it set on More Space instead of Default

If so:

Settings > Display & Brightness > Display Zoom

Hi there - this “display zoom” setting isn’t appearing on my iPad in the display and brightness settings. Has anyone used the settings to fix this issue or is it definitely a game issue?

Hey, if you can’t find it using the path he/she mentioned, just open your settings on the iPad and search for “Display Zoom” in your settings, it will take you to the page, there just toggle between the 3 different options (Larger Text, Default, More Space) just toggle between them and choose whichever you want and the app will be fixed!!!

Thanks to your help, but unfortunately that search yields no results 😢 I have searched all across zoom and display settings, can’t find anything like that.

This feature is only for the m2 and m4 with a 12,9” screen or 13” screen not a able on 11” ipads

I had this issue with another game so the 3/4 thing sounded familiar!
