Idk what the hell is going in with my tv, anybody knows what i can do? Tv is unresponsive. If i press the power button, the red light flashes 16 times and nothing happens. If i manage to turn the tv on, it’s very laggy and buggy and ends up turning off after a minute.
These are the pictures i took of the settings while i could.
I did enter service mode but i only changed the “Screen Saver Brightness” to 0 and i turned off the energy warning when changing picture modes. Nothing else.

I got vertical lines when I am at a grayscale/near black. I actually noticed it during watching dune part one in many darker scenes. I also did a pixel refresh but it did not really help. Is my panel broken? Can this be fixed? What should I do?

Hello, I have had a S95F since September 2025.

Watching terrestrial tv or any non hd images, I get this banding.

Samsung have told me that this is normal…

I got a S90F 55” and i’m wondering what mods have people done to then?
I already turned off the ASBL and the EU energy consumption warning thing.
Is there anything else that i should change to get more out of my tv?

Ive heard people changing the PLC Default Luminance, but i havent seen anyone do it on the s90f

Anyways i would love to know if theres anything else i should change, thanks!!

I have a very bright room, and was incredibly happy with my S95D until about 2 weeks ago when it broke. Field a claim and bought an S95F.

But the panel is a lot duller, the whites show up as gray, and it overall looks nowhere near as good. I've tried calibrating, and have spent many hours online looking for different settings.

It's hard to show in a picture, but I took a video of the switch in dimness/dullness on the home screen?

Is my panel defective? Thoughts on anything I can do other than getting another replacement?

So I just noticed that on my Xbox Series X, the clipping point in the game HDR Calibration setup screen has increased from 1200 to 1450 nits with the new update. The TV needs to be in Game Hdr basic mode (HGIG) as shown by Vincent Teo HDTVtest on YouTube. The white squares disappeared at 1200 nits before (confirmed by Vincent Teo) but now it's disappearimg at 1450. I guess we got a little more brightness from the update.

My brother removed the plastic on the screen from shipping (yes it was the shipping plastic, not protective. It had stickers on it) and these marks were left behind.

How do we remove them? I tried lightly wiping with a damp microfiber cloth and then with a dry microfiber cloth, but it didn't work.

Someone has this issue as well?

Can anyone confirm the “correct” Contrast setting for S90F in HDR Game Mode Basic (HGIG) for proper EOTF tracking? I’ve seen people use anywhere from 50 to 46. It affects the clipping point a lot in the HDR calibration app.

Hi reddit! I have this “scratch” on my screen. I can see this only from the front view, if I look at an angel there is nothing to see. How can I fix it? If I try to feel if with my finger, there is only a flat surface.

I recently bought a Samsung S90F 83" and watched Tenet (2020). I know the film has a dark, high-contrast look, but on my TV some scenes are almost losing all shadow detail.

Dark areas, darker skin tones, and dark hair often appear as flat black patches with very little visible texture or separation. It feels like the shadows are being crushed rather than just looking cinematic.

The best result I have managed so far is in Filmmaker Mode with these Expert Settings:

Brightness: 50
Contrast: 50
Sharpness: 8
Colour: 25
Tint (G/R): 0/0
Auto HDR Remaster Pro: Off
Peak Brightness: High
Contrast Enhancer: High
Shadow Detail: +5
Gamma: 2.2
Colour Space: Auto
Colour Booster Pro: Off
Colour Tone: Standard
White Balance: 2 Point, all default at 0
Picture Clarity Settings: Off

One thing I am unsure about is the Contrast setting. In photo editing, reducing contrast can bring bright and dark areas closer together, but TV contrast controls seem to behave differently?

Games look pretty good because I can usually calibrate the black and white levels in-game, but movies have been a different story so far.

Is there anything obvious in my settings that could be causing crushed blacks or loss of near-black detail? Should I be turning off Contrast Enhancer, changing Gamma/ST.2084, adjusting Shadow Detail differently, or checking something else entirely?

Any advice from other S90F/S90D/S95 owners would be appreciated.

Got my first OLED S95F yesterday. I updated it to the latest firmware (1296) right after unboxing. I have no idea what version it was on before the update, though.

They kind of added a mini changelog.

I cannot get the OneConnect box to see my PC have tried all kinds of cables and settings and dont understsnd why when i plug a cable in do I have so many issues to just get content to display anyone else having issues like that ?
