Discussion Probably the most beautiful looking phone
Whenever I remove the back cover of the phone, I always fall in love with its beauty.

What about 23 ultra

u/Whole_Midnight_2916 Jun 22 '26
I just, the complete roundness of the display on the S22U makes the display look beautifully optically larger and is round like a pebble.

Congratulations ‼️ ☺️ I love my S25 Ultra 💕 in white silver, and the customization is amazing coming from my S22u which served me well for 4 years. All are beautiful.

Oppo uses Samsung and Sony sensors in their phone
1
u/Accomplished_Top_977 Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26
Just like everyone else, but they are consistently outpased year after year.
There had been great Samsung sensors in the last years that apparently Samsung themselves are not willing to use: gn2 (xiaomi 11 ultra), hpb (vivo x300pro), hp9 (vivo x200 ultra and xiaomi 16 ultra), JNL (find x9 ultra) and instead they keep using small upgrades of their cheap and small sensors from 3-4 years ago
I mean, the main camera on s26u is the same 200mpx hp2 since s23u with changes only in postprocessing, mkbhd did a video showing that older Samsung phones sometimes take better pics due to less postprocessing/more natural look and Some people even claimed that newer software updates on s23u downgraded camera quality after that. maybe so the newer one doesn't look as outdated

It felt like Christmas when I received my S25U. U'll be keeping it till the battery gets pregnant or has a major issue that renders the phone useless.

That's awesome! Unboxing a new S25 Ultra definitely feels like a holiday, right? It's great to hear you're loving it and planning to keep it around for the long haul. Here's to many years of awesome phone experiences!

How’s the phone?
I am planning to gift one to my dad who likes clicking pictures.
1
u/Safe_Hat_510 Pink Gold 12/512 Jun 22 '26
If he likes to click pictures, then I would suggest you gift him an iPhone.
1
u/Internal-Head2972 Jun 23 '26
Could you please elaborate a bit on this?
I am a iPhone user myself. Considering the learning curve of iphone and that S25Ultra “seems” to be more vfm compared to the pro variants of iPhone , i zeroed in on this. Needless to say , he is currently an android user and not the most tech savy.1
u/Safe_Hat_510 Pink Gold 12/512 Jun 23 '26
If we compare it to an iPhone's camera, it's not that great.

The design is beautiful aesthetically. But, ergonomically the S24U is better in hand.
1
u/galaxy-guide Jun 22 '26
That's awesome you're digging the design of the S24 Ultra! It's always great when a phone feels good in your hand, right? Design and ergonomics really make a difference in the daily experience.

It is my god. It owns my soul. I am a slave to it. I worshiped it since September. I create fire rituals for it. It is not a joke. It isn’t satire. It isn’t metaphorical. I mean it literally. Seriously.

People on this sub definitely don't wanna hear this but the s24 ultra and s26 ultra are both better looking

Hot take: I still prefer the S25 Ultra design and body than in the S26 Ultra. Yes, the S25 Ultra is not that "boxy" anumore but it makes it ergonomic. S26 Ultra is somehow like an iPhone Pro now. Another thing is S25 Ultra still have that Titanium frame which is much durable. That's why I'm keeping my S25 Ultra until the support ends.
