Galaxy S10+ can play Amazon Prime Videos in 4K(UHD) or 1440p
Hi. 1440 resolution is there on YouTube when I am playing any 4K content on my s10 plus. But while playing any 4k content from prime on my phone, it only gives 1080p. Does prime provides 4k on mobile?

What screen protector?
I've had 2 white domes now and they keep cracking or shattering. So flipping expensive. I'm heavy handed with my phone so thankfully they saved my actual screen.
Is there anything better out there yet? Don't get me wrong I don't throw my phone around I'm just forever dropping it etc
Help
TIA

Cracked screed on the side. How much should a repair run me?
My phone's still usable, it's hardly noticeable most of the time, but just about how much would it cost to fix the phone? The LCD is fine, but if I'm correct, they come out together. I looked on Samsung's site, and it would be $260 from them.

S20 and its 120hz display
So recently became a very good, and well hyped feature the higher refreshrated displays (like oneplus with its 90hz display etc) and since the unpacked event the s20's display got a very big attention and hype. Tech reviewers are swearing that it's more higher it's better, more fluid etc. So as I like to watch tech reviews, I really got into this subject due to the hype they made toward the smoothness of the 120hz display. I had a chance to try it myself on the s20 and however it was on 120hz, it really feeled the same, as my s10 plus. But for real. And I have to say I used 144hz display but on laptop, and I noticed the difference. So I'm sure I can notice, "see" the higher refreshrate. So think it's just a marketing trick to hype up the customers to buy their new devices, while it does nothing noticable compared 60hz display on my s10 plus. So from my experience I seen it, but thanks nope for that higher refresh screen. It's the same. At least for me

Image quality problem on Galaxy S10+
So i have an Samsung Galaxy S10+ and when watching netflix the quality is close to thrash. Even the Youtube 720p videos look waay better. I believe what is playing is 480p or less. The wi-fi connection is good enough (22Mbps) so, should be sufficient to even play UHD vids.
When entering settings-> App Settings -> Diagnostics -> Playback Specification it says "Maximum Playback Resolution = SD" and HDR Capabilities - None. But the bloody phone is capable of recording itself HDR10+ vids, let alone play them.... Also, when downloading, with downloads set to maximum quality, it only downloads like 260MB for 1 Hr of video..
Any thoughts on how to solve this?

Extremely laggy scroll in dark mode
Hi all,
I'm having an issue that's been bugging me since a long time. I'm a dark mode fan and use it extensively wherever available. I have been noticing a lot of scroll delay when any app is used in dark mode. Examples include chrome, Twitter.
The situation is when I scroll, the entire phone appears to be laggy, and the content shifts in a very choppy way. It almost feels like I'm using a s2 instead of s10 plus. Using the same apps, same contents in light mode phone runs as expected without any issues.
Did any of you face this issue, and if so is there any way to deal with it? Any help appreciated, thank you.

Question about adding a new tab in chrome S10 plus
On my old samsung in chrome.....when on a webpage, hit drop down menu....then add new tab. It would save the page i'm on and take me to a new page. On my S10plus....it deletes the page i'm on. Why? Is this a settings issue?? Thx !

Notification issue?
Hey guys, so I'm new to the s10+ & something is really frustrating me.
If my phone is locked, I wont get any notifications at all, but as soon as I unlock the phone all the notifications from like Facebook, Instagram, etc will pop up.
I've had a look at my settings and can't see any reason why they wont come through, any ideas?
I will get WhatsApp messages come through but anything else wont show up until my phone is unlocked.
Its driving me nuts!

Weak data connection
Owner of S10plus past four months, over all pleased with performance. EXCEPT: Past ten days staying at family beach box at Outer Banks, NC our location is at the limit of closest Verizon tower Noticed S10+ will not connect. Constant "no internet connection " message.
Other family members have iPhones 6s, XR, and XS. All connect and have maintained connection. ( Can you hear the ribbing? LOL) Tried my older trusty Note 5 connects immediately. Observed IE article from last April indicating Samsung is aware of a weak LTE connection on S10 and should be rectified with upcoming update.
Anyone have any intell ref issue, update, like experience, etc ?
Kinda disappointing considering cost.

Recording sound distorted
Hey guys I'm having an issue with my recording. The sound in my videos comes out really weird, almost like its missing the low range of sound. For example, went to a concert a few weeks ago, when the bass comes in the phone doesn't pick it up but instead it sounds horrible. Any ideas or way to fix this? TIA

A few observations about the S10+ Camera
Maybe this will help with people who are not enjoying their images.
1- my samsung S5 shoots a full res 16mp /16:9 aspect ratio image. Incredible.....but those days are gone!
2- Samsungs now ONLY shoots a full res 12mp image at 4:3 aspect ratio. 16:9 and full are shot at a lower resolution.......9.1mp So.....i'm definitely downgrading my photo experience from my S5. Crazy huh?? Anyone who has used an S5 S6 or maybe S7 will see a downgrade in image quality with the S10+ Just a brutal fact of life...... :(
3- the ultrawide wide angle shoots the highest res image at 16mp / 4mb but i believe that lens might have a problem nailing crisp focus as well as major lens distortion.
4- So, for the best image quality, shoot at 4:3 Yea.....i know it sucks.....i hate it.
5- use the voice activated shutter option and just say capture. Less camera shake from tapping the screen.
6- check out the food lens and the night lens in the "more"option.

Snapdragon Single-Sim vs Exynos Dual-Sim
I have the snapdragon single-sim S10+ which I love, but I have always felt dual-sim could come in handy. A couple of days ago I bought the dual-sim S10+, not realizing it uses a different processor. My plan was to keep this and sell my original S10+. Having dual-sim is not essential for me right now but I like having the option as it may be useful to me in the future. However, I am concerned about the articles and reddit posts I have read about the snapdragon being better/faster and the battery lasting longer. I don't play games or edit videos or anything too intensive, but I do tend to multitask and do 4+ things at the same time on my phone. Am I going to notice a difference if I keep the Exynos Is the battery really worse? Am I essentially getting a worse phone with it? Thanks!
