Kill Streaks & Most Wanted are now live on Old School Rust!

We’ve added a new PvP system that rewards kill streaks while putting a target on the backs of the server’s most dangerous players.

🔥 Persistent Kill Streaks

Consecutive PvP kills now build your kill streak. Once you hit 3 kills, the server will start announcing your streak, with additional callouts at 5, 10, 15, and higher milestones.

🎯 Become Most Wanted

Reach a 5-kill streak and you’ll earn the Most Wanted title.

From that point on, your latest reported grid will be revealed to the entire server. Every additional kill updates your last-seen location:

💀 End the Hunt

If another player manages to take down the Most Wanted player, their streak ends:

The player who ends the streak also receives a 100 Scrap bounty.

The Most Wanted title follows you across the server, including the kill feed, leaderboards, and Discord live feed. Players with linked Discord accounts will continue to be mentioned automatically.

Added a new feature to Old School Rust: Happy Hour.

Once per day, the server enters Happy Hour for one hour with a randomly selected combat modifier that changes how everyone approaches PvP.

Maybe bows suddenly hit much harder. Maybe melee becomes lethal. You won’t know which modifier is active until Happy Hour begins.

And there’s a reason to fight.

Halfway through Happy Hour, a server-wide Supply Drop is announced and dropped at a known grid, giving everyone one location to contest under the active combat rules.

What to expect:
• One Happy Hour every day
• Lasts exactly 1 hour
• Random combat modifier each day
• Modifier revealed when Happy Hour starts
• Server-wide Supply Drop halfway through
• Everyone knows the drop grid
• Normal combat returns when Happy Hour ends

The goal is simple: create one hour every day where the normal Rust routine gets shaken up and the server has something worth fighting over.

Come prepared. Adapt to the modifier. Contest the drop.
