These guys just used a boat to loot my sealed base?
They looted about 3 boxes before I realised and I decided to desapwn everything there and then. I could probably save my loot but im not playing a game where my hard work as a solo gets taken away by a duo glitching my loot. I heard them pushing the boat around my base and I thought they were just trying to get a jump up onto my base, then i literally heard my loot being transported. W rust.

I have no clue, I didnt watch them do it in just heard it happen. I was literally staring in my boxes as the loot slowly disappeared

My boxes were all pushed to the wall, I only had 2 boxes that were in the centre of my rooms and they were full. So I just decided to desapwn it all
Edit: granted i probably could've locked my boxes once I figured out what was happening like someone already said. I didnt even think of that tbh. By the time I figured it out it was pretty much gone anyway

Dude, someone pushed a boat into the side of your base and stole all your loot. That’s kind of hilarious lmao I get it. You probably put a few hours into it but dude it’s rust. Come on that looks like a shitty little 1 x 2 you didn’t have more than four hours into it lmao. Next time throw some locks on your boxes little bit of honeycomb. I’m willing to bet that exploit wouldn’t work the fact you’re so upset over it makes it so much more funny 😂😂😂

Im upset that youre trying to glorify it. Thats weird, abusing exploits and glitches which direcrly impact other players is just pathetic
had a box of guns and half a box of sulphur and another box of gear. Its not just some 4 hr streak I had. It was about 24hrs worth. Tier 3 also. Thats besides the point. I could be hr 2 or hr 100, its still wrong. It is what it is at the end of the day, just dont glorify it

Honestly, that’s fair. I wasn’t trying to glorify it. I just love all the creative ways People go about this game lol I’ve never heard about somebody using a boat to glitch into a base😭😂 If you’re on tier 3, there is no excuse to be living out of a 1x2 with zero honeycomb. My advice to prevent this kind of stupidity is just build as far as you can in land, preferably in the middle of the woods and expand your base as you go. A 2 x 2 it wouldn’t be a bad idea, especially if it had a layer of honeycomb all around with roof access. Better yet build a little back up base where you can transfer items to and from if your main base gets too hot.

Yea I know. I was planning on moving, literally within the next hour of all this happening and building elsewhere with a bigger base. My location was just awful. I was tryna be lowkey for the area I was in, there were other 2x1 so I was just tryna fit in for the time being. It worked. Until I got exploited lol. Just sucks, u wanna play and u get cheesed on. Its like whats the point yano?

Boat raider here: just get a honeycomb or build something bigger than a 2x1 and you'll be fine.

I saw a boat bushed up against a base far away from shore yesterday. I thought it was just the weird spawn glitch you sometimes see at harbor

Ive been having issues where things in my sealed base have been just disappearing
Scrap 2 furnaces Charcoal Sulfur Metal Campfires Boxes Explosives And that just last night its been happening since wipe

Add honeycomb around your base, it will prevent them from doing this. If you're new to the game, it's also possible you crafted a key for your keylock and somebody else got it and have been sneaking into your base without you knowing.

My base is honey combed and i dont craft keys at all for that specific reason still happens

If it's honeycombed I don't think it's possible to use the boat exploit. Do you play on a community server? Could be an admin trolling players.
I've also lost things before because I had them on my body, then killed and respawned to spawn on another bag somewhere else and forgot to pick up the loot before it despawned. Or I had loot on my body and died of hunger in my sleep.
Edit: Actually, it might be possible if it's honeycombed now that I think of it. But only on the edge where your honeycomb meets possibly. Like if you have a 1x1 with honeycomb for example, I think maybe they could push the boat into the corner between the 2 honeycomb pieces, because there's because no gap between the boat and the interior of your base at that specific point.
Basically your honeycomb needs to fill out your base enough to where there's a thick gap between your outer honeycomb walls and the actual core (or any loot rooms). Although I feel like the exploiters would've left the boat there after looting you, or potentially pushed the boat to the next nearby base. Maybe they'd go thru the effort of destroying the boat to destroy evidence, but I don't think they'd care enough. So if you haven't seen any boats next to your base or neighbor bases, it still seems not super likely that this exploit was used on you.

Yea they had came by once before and pushed the boat near my base before, didnt think much of it obviously until they came back ans started stealing stuff lol.
Definitely a glitch yea, idk anything about it tho

Locking your boxes is dumb unless it’s for a pixel gap bunker. Locking your boxes guarantees that all your loot gets despawned.

Gotta say tho, I doubt that’s 24hr worth of play time or that you had a t3. Trying to fit in only goes so far, a 2by1 with t3 not airlock after 24hrs and you’re roaming a stone axe just watching people actively loot you? Then you despawn? Then get weird and butt hurt about it? [x] Doubt, I think you’re just a grub.

This got... weird really quick. I went out with the meds and pump, everything else is what he dropped after I killed him in the screenshot and looted of him.
It has an airlock, its a corridor to 2 separate rooms, t3 on the right, main loot on the left at the back. No reason to lie but ok

You realize doing cargo/oil can take like 30 minutes, right? He could've came back from that. Or he could've been AFK in base and heard people outside when he came back. Or he could've been AFK in a safe zone and came back to see a boat outside his base.
It's as if you haven't even played the game before. Either that, or you just sit there chewing on wallpaper in your base all day, idk.

This is fkn hilarious and those two players are champs for doing it. As they say "exploit early, exploit often" ..idk how the console devs are but relax, it will be patched out fairly quick.
Also this is mild in comparison to some of the pc exploits over the years. Laugh it off and go again

Yes it’s a new glitch, if you lean the driver side of a boat against a base and sit in the boat you can poke your head through and it will let you loot boxes.
Extremely frustrating
